Jessica and I got married on April 21, 2007 in St. Catharines, Ontario. The ceremony was held at the church where Jessica worked. After the reception, we flew to Edmonton, Alberta for another reception with all her friends on that side of Canada. Then we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. The week after our honeymoon we flew to El Paso, Texas where I grew up and held a wedding reception for my friends there. Then we came to Tulsa and had our fourth and final wedding reception. Since we were flying all over the place, most people did not give us gifts because they knew we would not be able to transport them. Instead, they gave us cash.
Two weeks after our wedding, we flew to Montego Bay, Jamaica to do a crusade in the Cricket Stadium. We took all the cash from our wedding receptions and used it to pay the bills for the crusade. The cost of the crusade was considerable and even after using all of our wedding money, we were still $20,000 short. To our relief, a local businessman from Jamaica walked into our crusade office and gave us a check to cover the balance.
We took a team of thirty students from Oral Roberts University with us for the crusade in Jamaica. But, since we had just gotten married a couple of weeks earlier, we did not spend much time with them. In fact, the only time we poked our heads out of the hotel rooms were when we were scheduled to preach. For the most part, we were still on our honeymoon. After preaching at the crusade, I prayed for all the people, and then I announced that I needed to leave quickly so that I could go lay hands on my wife.

I am excited to share with you about our Gospel Festival held recently in Kupang, Indonesia. At this outreach we witnessed a powerful demonstration of God’s love being poured out upon the city and God performed incredible miracles of salvation and healing.
Kupang, Indonesia, is a vibrant city located on the western tip of Timor Island in Indonesia. It serves as the capital of East Nusa Tenggara province and is known for its picturesque coastal views and lively urban atmosphere. The city boasts a rich cultural heritage with a blend of indigenous Timorese traditions and influences from Portuguese and Dutch colonial history. Kupang’s bustling markets, friendly locals, and scenic waterfront make it a charming destination. Our Gospel Festival was held in a plaza at the waterfront at the foot of a beautiful lighthouse.
Twenty-four hours before our Gospel Festival in Indonesia was scheduled to start, we did not know if it was even going to happen. The problem was the lack of a permit. To host an outdoor event in Indonesia the government requires churches to get official permission. This permit cannot be obtained locally. It has to be issued in the capital city of Jakarta. Our team applied for the permit long in advance, but because of bureaucratic red tape our permission was delayed.
The problem is that the churches are not permitted to do any advertising until they have the permit in hand. If they put up any posters or banners without the permit, the local police will take down the advertising. So, not only did we not know if we could do the event, but we were unable to do our normal level of marketing.
But, right in the nick of time, we received word that the permit had been issued! Halleluiah! We leaped into action to start advertising. Sound cars immediately started driving around the city of Kupang announcing, “If you need a miracle, come to the Gospel Festival and Jesus will heal you.” All the Christians started texting invitations to people on WhatsApp, a popular messaging application. We used Facebook advertising to tell people about the exciting event.
Even with the last-minute advertising, we were blessed because the location of our event is in a public square right in the middle of the city. The plaza is located right next to the ocean and it is popular place for young people to hang out as the sun goes down. Many people come to this location to eat, to walk along the beach, and to spend time with their friends.
As our music team played upbeat songs, people were attracted from near and far. They enjoyed watching our choir of young girls waving flags and playing tambourines. After the music attracted everyone’s attention, a local leader opened the event by striking a gong. All the pastors released doves into the air. Once the birds were set free, I preached about how Jesus can set sinners free. When I gave the altar call, many people gave their lives to Jesus.
Each day at the Gospel Festival, the message of Jesus Christ was proclaimed with boldness and clarity. Hearts were touched, and lives were transformed. The Holy Spirit moved among the crowd. Many people responded to the call of salvation and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It was a moving experience to see so many come forward to the front, surrendering their lives to the One who loves them and who died for them.
In addition to the salvations, we also witnessed many miraculous healings. By the power of Jesus, individuals were healed of various physical aches and pains. People who had been suffering for years walked away disease-free, and others experienced a restoration of health that only God can provide. These testimonies of healing are a testament to the living power of Jesus Christ, who continues to work signs and wonders among us today.
We are grateful to everyone who prayed for and supported this event. Your faithfulness and prayers played a crucial role in making this festival a success.
Watch Daniel King in the nation of Indonesia as he reaches out to Muslims who need Jesus. At our Gospel Festival in Jogjakarta, Indonesia we were in the shadow of a Muslim Mosque. Our message was clear. Only Jesus can save people from their sins. When the name of Jesus was mentioned, some Muslim leaders became upset and a riot almost started. But despite the opposition, many lives were changed forever!

Rajam, South Asia and Jammu, South Asia
Evangelist Daniel King traveled to South Asia to preach about Jesus in two different cities. Despite the opposition, many people were saved. Jessica King sponsored the digging of a water well in a village that had no clean drinking water.
Five hundred pastors representing 22 out of 24 districts in the Indian state of Jharkhand came to our pastor’s conference. Also represented were pastors from the Indian states of Orissa, Bihar, Assam, Sikkim, Chhatisgar, West Bengal, and from the nation of Nepal and the border of Bhutan. The pastors came from a broad spectrum of denominations including Catholic, Lutheran, Anglican, Baptist, Pentecostal, Assembly of God, and the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Some pastors traveled for several days from remote villages to attend. They arrived by auto-rickshaw, bus, walking, and by motorcycle. Before they gave their lives to Jesus, many of the pastors were from Hindu, Muslim, and Tribal religion backgrounds.
Because of the poverty in India, we helped pay for the pastor’s transportation and we provided lodging and food during the five day conference. Pastor A.J. Barjo from Ranchi said, “The conference was historical for our city. It was very well organized. Every pastor enjoyed this conference and appreciated the spiritual food and the physical food that we were fed. All the pastors are now motivated to go reach the lost.”
A member of the State Parliament and a Cabinet Minister welcomed the pastors to Ranchi. A Hindu newspaper reported on the conference with a favorable review.
On the first night of the conference, our team felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to give an altar call. Even though only pastors were supposed to be in attendance, we obeyed and a Hindu man who was visiting responded by giving his life to Jesus.
The focus of the conference was on soul winning. We challenged the pastors to go to the unreached villages of Jharkhand to plant churches.
The pastors were extremely attentive and took notes on each message. Daniel’s mother Susan challenged the pastors to pray diligently. Daniel’s brother David spoke about “God’s Purpose for Your Life.” Daniel spoke on “3 Reasons to be a Soul Winner”, “How to Lead People to Jesus,” and “The Fire of God.” Our co-evangelist Marcus Bloom spoke on “7 Gospel Truths” and “7 Secrets of a Successful Ministry.” He gave a copy of his new book “The Final Lap” to every pastor.
On the final day, we laid hands on each pastor and sent them out to fulfill the Great Commission. Many pastors were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues for the first time. They returned home happy and motivated to do big things for God!

In Haiti, we took our team of twenty-seven Bible School students to a small fishing village next to a lake. The village is within sight of the main road but because of the rocky terrain, our vehicles bumped and bounced for thirty minutes to get there. When we finally arrived, we saw the worst poverty I have ever experienced.
About thirty huts made of sticks and mud were clustered together. The children had bloated bellies and most of them were not wearing clothing. Normally children would run to greet us with shouts, but these children silently watched us through sunken eyes. We gathered them together under a single tree that offered the only shade in the village.
We started by singing some songs in Creole. The children timidly joined in by clapping. Our team sat among the children, holding them in our laps. One little boy was fascinated with the blond hair of one of the girls on our team. He kept touching and stroking her shiny hair.
We told the kids how much God loves them. We laid hands on each little fuzzy or bald head. We picked them up and hugged them. A few of the children shyly smiled at us. All of the children prayed a prayer of salvation with us.
One little boy caught my attention. He was naked. He looked about seven or eight years old. I prayed for him by laying my hand on his head. He looked up at me with big round eyes. After I finished praying, I took my hand off his head to walk away. He grabbed my hand with his hand and refused to let it go. From then until we left, he stayed right by my side. He gave me a tour of his village and showed me the dirt floor hut he called home.
At the end of our visit, we were able to give the entire village enough high-protein food to eat for two weeks. We were able to positively impact that young boy’s life and I believe that I will see him again in eternity.

In January of 2010, Haiti suffered from an earthquake; this past week Haiti experienced a spiritual earthquake. Evangelist Daniel King traveled with a team of twenty-seven Bible school students to the Caribbean nation for a massive Gospel Festival. Their ministry impacted thousands of lives in Kawdá Bouké, a suburb of Port-au-Prince. In addition to conducting a five-day crusade, the team visited orphanages, poverty-stricken villages, and conducted a women’s conference, a pastor’s conference, a Kid’s Fest, and a healing conference.
Thousands of people made a commitment to live for Jesus. One life that was changed is a twenty-seven-year-old man named Wilnack Saint-Fort. One month before the Gospel Festival he saw team members putting up posters around the city. He asked if he could help. At first, the team refused his help because he was obviously drunk.
Something about the team’s attitude attracted the young man. Every day for a month he followed them. After several days of building a relationship, they allowed him to pass out flyers and glue posters to the walls. After the festival platform was built, Wilnack volunteered to sleep under the platform to help guard the sound equipment.
He said, “One night I dreamed a dream. In my dream, I was in a beautiful place and I saw many beautiful houses. I saw a man in a white robe walk toward me and just as He opened His mouth to speak to me, I woke up. I knew that Man was Jesus and so I decided to live my life for Him.” On the second night of the Gospel Festival, Wilnack gave his life to the Lord. When he heard the question, “Do you want Jesus to forgive your sins?” he responded by raising his hand. He prayed the prayer of salvation and Jesus became his Lord and Savior. He plans to attend a branch of Victory Bible Institute that is being planted in his neighborhood.
“Follow up for new believers is extremely important to me,” says Daniel King, “We work closely with the local pastors and we distributed 10,000 “Life of Jesus” books to the new believers. My home church of Victory Christian Center, led by Sharon Daugherty, wants to plant Bible schools in every town in the nation of Haiti.”
One night, Daniel King preached on the story of the paralyzed man who was let down from the roof. In Matthew 9, Jesus says three things to him: be encouraged, your sins are forgiven, and take up your bed and go home. Jesus healed the man emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Daniel announced that Jesus wanted to heal the people of Haiti in the same three ways. He invited everyone who needed healing to come to the front and the team laid hands on them. God touched many people and they testified from the platform. Arms, eyes, necks, backs, stomachs, and emotional problems were healed by the power of God.
The earthquake in 2010 devastated Daniel Vallon, the translator for the crusade. His house was severely damaged when the earth shook. For several months his family was forced to live in a tent. Due to the generosity of a Canadian church, Daniel King was able to send him money to rebuild. He used the money to fix his house and the house of his neighbor. Now, two years later he served as a translator for the outreach.
Haiti is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere. After the earthquake, millions of dollars were poured into Haiti to help people. But the nation continues to need help. The pastors of Haiti need encouragement; the people need an outpouring of compassion, and the children need food. Daniel King says, “After the earthquake, the world’s attention was focused on Haiti for a short period of time, but now many have forgotten to care. Please don’t forget to pray for Haiti or stop giving to the ministries that are working there.”

This past week, I was ministering in the Central American nation of Guatemala. Our team had the opportunity to visit the poorest of the poor in an obscure village far off the beaten path. The water source for the village is a lake that people drink from, do their laundry in, and use to water their animals. Because of the unsanitary conditions, many people in the village suffer from various diseases. Our team gave away 35 water filters to the families in the village so that their children would have clean water to drink. As we preached the Gospel in the village, 53 people prayed with us for salvation! The ministry we worked with has planted a church in the community in order to follow up on the new believers.
After our village crusade, I came back to Guatemala City and preached in an upper-class church on Sunday morning. The church is full of lawyers, doctors, and the elite of society. God touched these people the same way He touched the poor people in the village. As I was thinking about the two different types of ministry I had the privilege of doing in Guatemala, God gave me a powerful revelation.
I have been studying the book of John and I was struck by the contrast between John Chapter 3 and John Chapter 4. In John 3 we discover the story of a man named Nicodemus who visited Jesus in the middle of the night. In John 4 is the story of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well.
Two people met Jesus, but these two people were completely different.
* Nicodemus was a Jewish man; she was a Samaritan woman.
* Nicodemus was a ruler of the people; she was an outcast.
* Nicodemus was a Pharisee; she was a five-time divorcee and adulterer.
* Nicodemus was rich; she was poor.
* Nicodemus was theologically trained; she only understood folk religion.
* Nicodemus was influential with lots of friends; she was a nobody with no friends.
* Nicodemus was well-studied; she was unlearned.
* Nicodemus was respected; she was disdained.
* Nicodemus came in the middle of the night; she met Jesus in the middle of the day.
* Nicodemus wanted knowledge; she wanted a drink.
* Nicodemus knew Jesus was a teacher from God; she discovered He was the Messiah.
Yet despite their differences, Jesus reached out to both of them. He revealed Himself to both of them. Jesus provided a way for both of them to be saved. Both of them needed Jesus!
Today, the same is true. Both the rich and the poor, the men and the women, the young and the old, the lowest to the highest, the kings to the peasants, the influential people and the nobodys, the down-and-out and the up-and-out, they all need Jesus. From the richest billionaire in his mansion to the poorest farmer in Africa who sleeps on a dirt floor, every person has a God-shaped-hole in his or her life that desperately needs to be filled.
To Nicodemus, Jesus said, “You must be born again” (John 3:7). To the Samaritan woman, Jesus said, “If you knew the gift of God…He would have given you living water” (John 4:10).
To Nicodemus, Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). To the Samaritan woman, Jesus promised, “Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:14).
In Guatemala, I ministered in the village to people like the Samaritan woman, and I ministered in the city to people like Nicodemus and God moved both times. God loves everyone and He blesses everyone no matter what level of society they live in. As we gave the life-saving water filters away, I was reminded about how Jesus gave the Samaritan woman the gift of living water. Just as Jesus told Nicodemus to be born-again, we told the people how they could be born-again into God’s kingdom
Every person needs Jesus. He is willing to meet us whenever we come to Him, whether by day or night, in sickness or in health, in poverty or with wealth. Jesus wants everyone to experience eternal life!

Jesus promised that His disciples would be witnesses to the ends of the earth. One of these far away places is Lalo Kile in Ethiopia. I recently landed in Addis Ababa, the capital city, and drove fourteen hours to the location of our Gospel Festival. On the journey, often over bumpy dirt roads, we had a miracle encounter. We were passing through Nekemte and stopped for a coffee (everyone in Ethiopia drinks coffee). At the roadside table next to us we heard some men talking about a Bible school. I greeted them and met the director of an International Victory Bible Institute, a Bible school planted by my home church, Victory Christian Center. It is amazing the impact that Victory has had around the world. I had the opportunity to visit the school and minister to the 198 students. They eagerly study the Word, despite lack of desks and sitting on wooden benches.
The conditions on this mission trip were quite primitive. There was no bathroom near my room so I had to walk up a little hill to a smelly public outhouse. Each morning, I was brought a plastic bucket of cold water to wash in and I had to scoop water out of the bucket and pour it over my head.
When we finally arrived in Lalo Kile, a delegation of pastors met us at the entrance of the town with a warm welcome. On the first night of the Gospel Festival, about 15,000 people came. There was a man who had an infected foot. The doctor told him the foot would have to be amputated. Jesus miraculously healed his foot and the man started to march and dance. When he shared his testimony, all the people rejoiced with him.
On the second night, 18,000 people came and I spoke on the paralyzed man in the Bible who was let down through the roof. A man blind in his right eye was healed. He brought a document from the hospital that proved he was blind. Each morning we held a Fire Conference at a local church for all the leaders. On the first day every seat was filled; the next day people were leaning in through the windows and lined up outside to listen.
On the third day, there were so many people that the church was not able to hold them and we were forced to move outdoors. On the third day of the Festival, 35,000 people came and there were many more miracles.
There was a mosque right next to our grounds. Five times a day, an imam called Muslims to prayer. His sound system was loud, but ours was louder. As we drove by the mosque on Friday, there were only about ten pairs of shoes outside. On Saturday night as we drove by, a large rock flew from inside the mosque compound and hit the side of our car, leaving a large dent. The rock made a loud bang. If it had hit our window, it definitely would have shattered glass all over our car. We told the police, and they posted a guard next to the mosque to make sure they did not throw any more stones at the people walking by.
On the fourth day, 45,000 people were in attendance and I preached on the Four Greatest Miracles in the Bible. We put a large wooden cross right in the middle of the platform and did a drama about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Those who raised their hand to accept Jesus, received a booklet and a counselor wrote down their names for the local churches to follow up on the new believers.
On Sunday morning, the fifth and final day of the Festival, approximately 55,000 people gathered together. The field was not big enough to hold everyone. I preached on the three greatest events in the Bible: Creation, Calvary, and Pentecost. We prayed with the whole crowd to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and thousands spoke in their personal prayer language for the first time. In Ethiopia, people were saved, healed and filled with the Holy Spirit. This Gospel Festival is another great success. Thank you for helping us to preach the Gospel of Jesus to the people living near the “ends of the earth.”

Can God transform an entire city? Our whole family decided to travel to the city of Barahona in the Dominican Republic to find out.
The plan was simple. A series of outreaches would target different segments of society and then a crusade of healing and salvation would be held in the middle of the city. A team of over forty people came including evangelists Daniel King, Jack Myers, and Pastor Tod Delay.
The team spread out across the city looking for people who needed Jesus and to invite them to the crusade. When the team spotted a basketball game, the court quickly became a platform for talking about Jesus. A game of dominos became a chance to give an altar call. At an outreach to baseball players, 121 young men gave their lives to Jesus.
The team ministered in churches across the city to encourage local believers to be soul winners. All the pastors in the city were invited to a formal banquet and the team served them food and ministered to them. A TV channel invited us to talk about miracles. At the women’s conference, Jessica and our seven-year-old daughter Katie Grace ministered to the women. Our nine-year-old son Caleb was in charge of taking all the pictures and video.
On the first night of the crusade, a crowd gathered together. As Jessica led the people in a worship song, rain began to pour. But Jessica kept singing and the people stayed. Then I preached and souls were saved! Each night the crowd grew in size as people heard about the miracles God was doing. By the time the crusade was finished, great joy filled the city. A total of 492 people were saved. Thank you for supporting the King Family on our mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Because of your prayers and your support a city was transformed for eternity.

Why do we wear ties in church? Find out in this video from Croatia.
Did you ever wonder why people wear ties to church? I heard one pastor say that it is Biblical to wear ties in church because the Bible says to bring your “tithes” into the storehouse.
According to Wikipedia, “in 1660, in celebration of its hard-fought victory over the Ottoman Empire, a crack regiment from Croatia visited Paris. There, the soldiers were presented as glorious heroes to Louis XIV, a monarch well known for his eye toward personal adornment. It so happened that the officers of this regiment were wearing brightly colored handkerchiefs fashioned of silk around their necks. These neck cloths struck the fancy of the king, and he soon made them an insignia of royalty as he created a regiment of Royal Cravattes. The word “cravat” is derived from the à la croate—in the style of the Croats.”

Recently I had the opportunity to attend an Empowered21 conference in Bogotá, Colombia. It was hosted by Billy Wilson, president of Oral Roberts University, and George O. Wood, leader of the Assemblies of God denomination. Over 15,000 leaders from 41 nations participated from Latin America and around the world. The focus of the conference was to talk about the power of the Holy Spirit.
I was invited to attend as part of the Global Evangelists Alliance, a group of thirty of the world’s top evangelists. We discussed strategy for taking entire nations for the cause of Christ. The goal of Empowered21 is to impact each person on earth with the power of the Holy Spirit before 2033, the two-thousand-year anniversary of the day of Pentecost. I am excited to be part of this group of leaders because together we can accomplish something great for the kingdom of God.
The highlight of the conference was on the final night when a minister preached about the Holy Spirit and began to pray for people. Thousands of people were touched by the power of God.
We Need the Power of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is not a thing. The Holy Spirit is not a white cloud. He is not an impersonal force like gravity or magnetism, nor is He a mystical “Force” like in the movie Star Wars. The Holy Spirit is not an “it” but a “He.” He is a Person, a distinct entity in the Triune Godhead. The Holy Spirit is not fire, but He appears like a tongue of fire. He is not a dove, but He did descend like a dove. The Holy Spirit is a Person with a personality. He has intellect, emotions, and a will.
The Holy Spirit was intimately involved in every detail of the early church and we need the same move of the Holy Spirit in the church today. Unfortunately, in many of our modern church activities we have forgotten to include the Holy Spirit. A.W. Tozer wrote, “If the Holy Spirit was withdrawn from the church today, 95% of what we do would go on and no one would know the difference. If the Holy Spirit had been withdrawn from the New Testament church, 95% of what they did would stop, and everybody would know the difference.”
Look at what happens in the Book of Acts:
* In Acts 1, the Holy Spirit is promised.
* In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit spontaneously comes upon the disciples as they pray in the upper room and they all begin to speak in tongues. This miracle is accompanied by a mighty rushing wind and tongues of fire that hovered above the heads of the disciples.
* In Acts 4, the Holy Spirit comes upon the disciples again and refills them.
* In Acts 8, the Samaritans were filled with the Holy Spirit when apostles Peter and John laid hands on them.
* In Acts 9, Saul is filled with the Spirit when Ananias laid hands on him.
* In Acts 10, the Gentile Cornelius and his entire household are spontaneously filled with the Spirit and begin to speak in tongues while Peter is still speaking.
* In Acts 19, the believers in Ephesus are filled with the Holy Spirit when Paul lays hands on them.
No one can put God in a box. There is no set formula for how God moves. Each time someone is filled with the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts, the sequence of events is different. The Holy Spirit is always doing the same things, but He is always doing them differently. Some people are filled with the Spirit when a minister lays hands on them. Other people are filled with the Spirit when an anointed preacher is preaching. Other times the Holy Spirit falls on a roomful of people praying. The Holy Spirit comes in many different ways and at many different times. The Holy Spirit is not a commodity to be bottled up; He is a living entity with a will. He moves as He wants to move.
Everything the Holy Spirit did in the Book of Acts, He is still doing today. David duPlessis (known as Mr. Pentecost) said, “The New Testament is not a record of what happened in one generation; it is a blueprint for what should happen in every generation until Jesus comes.”
Be Filled with the Holy Spirit!
I pray you would experience a new infilling of the Holy Spirit in your life. The Holy Spirit will teach you, guide you, comfort you, and help you every day of your life. If you want more of the Holy Spirit’s power in your life, take a moment right now and pray, “Holy Spirit, fill me now!”
In Cartagena, Colombia I had the opportunity to preach the Gospel in the Bull Fighting ring. We also did a pastor’s conference for hundreds of local leaders.

In the year before we took a team to La Loche, almost fifty people committed suicide over the course of one year (averaging almost one per week). In the video, you can see how we prayed against the spirit of suicide in La Loche. One year after our visit we received a miracle report that not one person had committed suicide that year! More than three thousand years ago, a prophet asked an intriguing question, “Can a nation be saved in a day?” (Isaiah 66:8). We believe the answer is “Yes!” In July of 2017, a team of evangelists, a multitude of missionaries, and hundreds of local churches joined together to make this prophecy a reality in the nation of Belize.
On Saturday – July 22, 2017 thousands of people from across the nation of Belize gathered together in Belize City for a historic day of music concerts, X-treme sports, fun, games, and a message about the hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Admission was free! All were welcome!
According to the World Factbook, the nation of Belize has an estimated population of 353,858 people. This means that total attendance at our events added up to about 14% of the total population of Belize and approximately 1.4% of the population made a public decision to follow Christ. Another 8% of the nation viewed the festival online and we have no way of measuring how many people watched the national broadcast that aired across the nation from 10 o’clock in the morning until midnight and is being re-aired several times in the weeks to come. All of these numbers add up to massive national impact.
Behind each of these numbers, there is a story of an individual whose life was touched by God. The story of what God did in Belize goes beyond the pictures and the numbers, the story continues on into eternity. Because of your service to the Lord, lives were changed forever!
Out of the thousands of lives that were changed by the power of God, one story stands out to me. We reserved almost every room at one hotel for our massive team. One day, as we were getting ready to leave the hotel for a day of ministry one of the hotel staff approached us and said, “Is there someone who can pray for me?” Phil Rich, one of our team members, took him aside and began to pray with the man. Thirty minutes later, Dr. Phil came and excitedly told me, “The man asked me to pray with him for salvation. He repented of his sins and gave his life to Jesus.” God softened this man’s heart and before we even arrived at our ministry site for the day, we had already been given the opportunity to lead the man to Jesus.
Another one of our team members, Matt Kearney, shared this testimony with me in an e-mail. He writes, “One night at a festival outreach, an ex-gang member named Alan pulled me aside after I had shared my testimony of how only Jesus can satisfy the longing in our hearts. He said he used to be one of the worst criminals in Belize City. He had done many terrible things and nothing could satisfy him. After getting shot, his sister dying of cancer, and his brother dying in his arms from gunshot wounds, he knew he had to leave that lifestyle. So he came to San Pedro, got a respectable job, and tried to become a good person, but he was consumed with guilt. He didn’t think that God could forgive him for all the bad things he had done.
But Jesus died for all! I explained how God forgave the Apostle Paul who identified himself as the worst of sinners because he helped kill Christians. A moment later, [the evangelist] invited the crowd to come forward if they wanted to get right with God and begin a relationship with Jesus. I said to Alan, “If you feel that what we’ve shared with you is true and that you need to respond, then that is the Holy Spirit telling you that you need to do this today.” But he was still hesitant, so I asked, “Would you like me to go forward with you?” He said yes and he gave his life to Christ. He felt the burden of guilt was gone! He ended up getting connected with a great church too.”
I get excited every time I see a crowd of people raise their hands and cry out to Jesus for salvation. I consider it a huge privilege to have the opportunity to share the Good News with people. But, when I stand on a platform preaching, I do not stand there alone. You stand there with me, because without your financial help and your prayers, that platform would not be there.

My six-year-old son Caleb just graduated from kindergarten at Victory Christian School. One of his classmates is a boy named Go. At a parent-teacher conference, I sat down next to Go’s father and discovered his name is Do. After chatting for a while, Do found out that I am an evangelist. He invited me to share at the Zomi Baptist Church here in Tulsa. The Zomi people come from the nation of Myanmar (previously known as Burma). I thought there might be a few dozen people in attendance but when we arrived there were over four hundred. Do asked me to speak on the subject of healing. Right before I began, he leaned over and said, “Many of the church elders do not believe that God heals today but I still want you to preach on healing.” In that service, three people testified that they were miraculously healed by Jesus. When we went out for a meal after the service, another seven people texted Do to report they were also healed but had been hesitant to share their testimonies publicly.
Do invited me to visit Myanmar. His father, also named Go, is a pastor in the city of Kalaymo. He said, “We need to do a pastor’s conference to train our leaders and a Gospel Festival to tell people about the healing power of Jesus.
On my first day in Yangon, the largest city in Myanmar, I had the opportunity to visit some of the local Buddhist pagodas. They look like big golden Hershey kisses surrounded by statues of Buddha sitting in a lotus position. Many barefoot Buddhist monks in orange robes walk around asking for alms by holding out a metal pot. In front of one pagoda, I saw a woman with a birdcage. Several hundred birds were flapping inside. A husband and wife came and bought a bird then set it free. There is a Buddhist belief that doing a good deed will wipe out a previous bad deed. The problem is that no matter how many good deeds one does, one can never wash away the stain of sin. Only Christ can do that.
When Do and I arrived in Kalaymo we were greeted by a large crowd outside the airport. Many of them were there to welcome Do who had been away from home for nine years. They put a scarf with traditional Zomi colors around my neck. This is a sign of great respect. Two hundred and fifty pastors gathered together for our leadership conference. We fed them three meals each day. They ate two cows, over sixty chickens, and twelve hundred pounds of rice. Our team spent six hours each day teaching on evangelism, leadership, and basic Bible principles.
Each night at the Gospel Festival, thousands of people came together to hear about Jesus. In the crowd were many Buddhists, some skeptical about the message. But when the miracles started, they were amazed. Each night we witnessed tremendous miracles and when the altar call was given virtually the entire crowd prayed with us to make Jesus Lord of their lives. We also prayed for people to be set free from drug and alcohol addiction.
On the final night of the festival, a group of gang members gathered outside the front gate of the Festival and attacked Go’s brother. Twenty of them viciously beat him with rocks. We do not know if the gang members were Buddhists that were angry we were preaching about Jesus or drug dealers furious we were preaching against drugs. We rescued the man and took him to the hospital. He had blood streaming from several cuts on his face and head and his back was bruised badly. He was forced to stay in the hospital for several days. A few days after I returned to the United States, the same gang burnt down the man’s house. At this Gospel Festival, we saw God do great miracles and saw many salvations, but we also were attacked by the devil. I am thankful for your prayers during this outreach. We really need people like you praying when we visit the frontline of Gospel evangelism. Thank you!
Myanmar (Burma) is located in southeast Asia between Bangladesh and Thailand. It has a tropical climate. In landmass, Myanmar is slightly smaller than the state of Texas. Myanmar is one of the poorest nations in Asia. About 26% of the nation lives in complete poverty, especially in rural areas.
For over fifty years, a military junta ruled the nation of Myanmar. In 2016, a civilian government was democratically elected in Myanmar. For the first time, it became possible for Christians to hold open-air meetings in Burma.
Myanmar has 54 million people divided up among 149 distinctive people groups. Each of these people groups have their own culture, traditional dress, and language. The official language of Myanmar is Burmese, but many people speak a second mother tongue.
Of these people groups, 53 of them are completely unreached which means there is no church within their people group. The nation of Myanmar is 78.1% Buddhist and about 8.1% Christian. The remaining population has an ethnic religion (6.9%) or is Islamic (4.8%). In total, there are 49 million unreached people living in Myanmar. These are people who have never had the opportunity to respond to the Gospel.

“My name is Yasmeen and I am 26-years-old. For many years I was tormented by demons. They shook my bed in the middle of the night and kept me awake with horrible nightmares.
Eighteen months ago, I saw a poster advertising a Miracle Festival in the Medina suburb of Faisalabad here in Pakistan. The poster announced that Jesus would set people free. I went, hoping to find freedom from the evil spirits that were oppressing me.
On the first and second night of the festival, I tried to listen to the message but the demons kept snatching the ideas and thoughts from my mind. I could feel the demons covering my ears so I would not hear.
But on the third night of the festival, the foreigner who was speaking took authority over every demonic spirit in the Name of Jesus. He commanded them to leave the festival grounds. Suddenly, I could think clearly.
The preacher asked the crowd to pray to Jesus for forgiveness of sin. I cried out to Jesus to save me and immediately I was filled with great peace!
Never again did the demons torment me. After the festival was over, I started attending a local house church that met a short distance from my home. I began to read the Bible and pray every day. I have served Jesus for eighteen months now. I love Him with all of my heart and I am so thankful for everything Jesus has done for me.”
This story is One in a Million! The goal of King Ministries is to lead one million people to Jesus every year. We can not accomplish this goal without your help. Would you give a monthly gift to help us rescue people from hell? Even a gift of $1 a month would be a huge help. Over the course of our twenty years of ministry, we have found it takes an average cost of $1 for every person we have lead to Jesus. In order to do large evangelistic outreaches, we need to rent a platform, sound system, and advertise the event. Plus we give away thousands of free books and Bibles to help disciple the new believers. “My name is Boru. I am 36 years old and I live in a small village called Resanko in southern Ethiopia. As far back as I can remember, my family has worshiped local gods. My father trained me in daily rituals to appease the gods of snakes, trees, and the sun and moon with sacrifices.
Hardly any visitors come to my home because the road to the village is little more than a muddy path most of the year. But recently a Jeep came with young men who put up posters and gave us flyers. The flyers told about a man named Jesus who can heal blind eyes, deaf ears, and make cripples walk. I was curious, as were many of my family members. We wondered if miracles would really happen at the festival?
When the time came, I walked 20 kilometers to Agere Maryam. The mass of people at the festival and the music was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. After the speaking, dozens of people walked up the ramp to the platform and told us how they were healed by Jesus. I had brought my blanket and decided to stay for several nights, sleeping on the festival field.
The next night I waited to hear more about Jesus. The speaker told us how Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins to be forgiven. All I had to do was receive His forgiveness and make Jesus the ruler of my life! I was tired of the ritual sacrifices I made to local gods. Jesus’ death was sacrifice enough for me. When the preacher asked who wanted to receive forgiveness of our sins, I raised my hand.
I repeated the prayer after the interpreter along with thousands of others surrounding me. I felt different like something had changed inside me. A man from a local church introduced himself to me and gave me a book about Jesus. Then he prayed with me.”

This woman’s name is Akawewaga Evas. She lives in Bwambara. She heard about our miracle festival on the radio and decided to come. She strapped her one-year-old baby son to her back and rode on the back of a Boda (motorcycle taxi) for three hours to the festival grounds.
When the altar call was given, she was the first to rush to the front. She lifted her hands in the air and began to cry. She gloriously gave her life to Jesus.
Brother Livingstone, one of the festival counselors, helped her fill out a decision card. He prayed for her to be set free from demons and for her stomach to be healed. Then, he directed her to go to the Christian Fellowship Church in the town where she lives. Her decision card will be given to the pastor who will assign a local believer to disciple her.

In January of 2010, Haiti suffered from an earthquake; but during our Gospel Festival, Haiti experienced a spiritual earthquake. We traveled with a team of twenty-seven Bible school students to the Caribbean nation for a massive Gospel Festival. Our ministry impacted thousands of lives in Kawdé Bouké, a suburb of Port-au-Prince. In addition to conducting a five-day crusade, our team visited orphanages, poverty-stricken villages, and conducted a women’s conference, a pastor’s conference, a Kid’s Fest, and a healing conference.

Kanti Devi is a Hindu woman who lives 1.5 kilometers away from our Gospel Festival site. She was given a flyer that announced that Jesus would perform miracles and she decided to come to the Gospel Festival. When she heard the preaching and saw the miracles, she knew the rest of her family needed to hear the same message.
She called her daughter, Seema Devi, who lives 130 kilometers away and invited her to come. The daughter got on the bus and traveled for four hours. Together the mother, her husband, and her daughter all attended the next night. They sat in chairs at the very back of the crowd. They enjoyed the music from the local worship team.
They listened intently to a story about Jesus. In response to the altar call, the whole family came forward to pray to Jesus. We gave each of them a copy of the Gospel of John. We prayed for them and introduced them to a local pastor whose church is within walking distance of their home.

One humid evening in Costa Rica I preached on The Prodigal Son. I announced from the platform, “Even if you are one thousand steps away from God, it is only one step back.” When I gave the altar call I asked everyone who was living away from God to come home to the Father’s house.
One man ran to the front and fell to his knees weeping. As I knelt down beside him, I smelled alcohol. He was half drunk. He told me his name was Abraham. As we prayed together, he gloriously repented and cried out to Jesus for forgiveness.
A local church member told me later, “Everyone in the city knows Abraham. Many years ago, he used to pastor a church here, but then he fell away from God. Nowadays he is known as a public nuisance because he is always drunk.” News spread and the whole city was astonished to see him return to his heavenly Father.
After the service, Abraham told me God had also healed him. He said, “Three years ago, I was in an accident and my shoulder was injured. I started to drink alcohol to dull the pain, but now the pain is gone. Jesus has healed me.” I prayed with him and told him that God wants to restore him completely.

On the first night of the festival in Kihihi, Uganda, a man grabbed my hand and urgently asked me to follow him. He pulled me to where a woman was crouched under a tree. I tapped her on the shoulder and asked: “Sister, what is your name?” She refused to look me in the eye and then she began to shake. Suddenly, she jumped to her feet and rushed toward the sound system and tried to pull out the microphone cords. Three people held her back with all their strength.
They pointed to her feet and I saw that around her ankles were thick metal shackles linked by a chain. One explained that she is crazy and the only way to keep her from hurting people is to keep her chained up. I laid my hands on her and began to pray, taking authority over the demonic spirits that were holding her captive.
Two nights later after the altar call, the same woman came to the platform to tell the crowd that Jesus had set her free. She said, “My name is Teriyeitu Milia. I am from Kihanda (parish) Kirima (sub-county) Kanungu (district). I am twenty-five years old. For many years I have been tormented by demons. The demons forced me to hurt others and myself so my family put chains on my feet these last five years. A woman from my village heard about this festival on the radio and brought me by motorcycle taxi from three hours away. Now, Jesus has set me free and I am in my right mind. I have given my life to Jesus and from now on I will live for Him!”

“In Honduras, thousands of people prayed with us for salvation. One story that stands out in my mind is my taxi driver Ronmel. One day someone was supposed to give me a ride but never showed up. I flagged down a taxi in front of my hotel. As Ronmel and I rode around, we listened to the radio. Suddenly, an advertisement for our crusade started playing. I asked the taxi driver if he was going to attend. He said he was not a Christian but that his mother was praying for him.
I offered to pray for him. He asked, ‘Are you a pastor?’ I told him I was with the team that was doing the outdoor event that night. He started to break down and tell me about the problems he was having in his life. His wife had recently left him and he was facing health issues. Right there in his taxi, he started to cry. I prayed for him and then led him to the Lord. I gave him my book for new believers. Thousands of people got saved last week, but my taxi driver will be the one face that I will remember.”

She was sitting on a park bench in the central plaza of Crato, Brazil, waiting for a bus. She looked up as I approached and I noticed tired desperation in her eyes. I handed her a flyer about our Gospel crusade. Her eye immediately went to the words “Miracle Festival” and she asked, “Do you really believe in miracles?”
Through a translator, I said, “Yes, I believe that Jesus will do many miracles here in this city.”
She said, “My daughter needs a miracle, can you pray for her?” Before I could lay my hand on her shoulder and start praying, she stopped me and pointed to her purse. She unzipped the top and fumbled around for a few seconds before pulling out a picture of a young girl, her daughter.
She said that her daughter was partially blind and could not walk or talk. I took the picture in my hands and prayed for her daughter. She cried as I prayed and when I finished I asked her, “Do you want to make Jesus the Lord of your life?” She nodded and so I led her in a salvation prayer. After we prayed with her, she wiped away her tears and we left to continue passing out flyers on the other side of the plaza.
One hour later we were about to get on our bus to head back to the hotel when this same woman came running up to us. She was shouting, “My daughter’s healed! She’s walking!”
When we got her to calm down she said excitedly, “After Daniel laid his hands on my daughter’s picture, I used my cell phone to call home. The baby-sitter told me that at the exact moment that Daniel started praying for my daughter, the young girl stood up and walked across the room and spoke for the first time in her life.”

Ethiopia is in danger of becoming a Muslim nation. Surrounded by radical Islamic nations like Sudan, Somalia, and Eritrea, this nation has been targeted by radical mullahs to be the next conquest of Islam.
Jessica and I traveled for two days through Ethiopia over dirt roads to reach the site of our Soul Winning Festival. As we passed through dozens of villages, I was shocked to see a mosque in almost every village…and very few churches. Our festival team worked hard to put up over 20,000 posters…and almost every poster was torn down by the Muslims.
Muslim youth rioted and threw rocks at our local team. A rock went through the window of one of our publicity vehicles and shattered it. When the police arrived, the Muslims falsely accused our team of starting the riot. Thirteen members of our team were unjustly arrested and thrown into jail. But, the truth was revealed and our team was released the next day.
With such strong opposition, very few Muslims came to hear the Gospel on the first night of the festival. But, on the second night, a miracle happened to change everything.
A cripple named Mohammad was miraculously touched by God! He was well known in the city and when he walked across the platform to testify that Jesus had healed him the news spread like wildfire. Jesus was healing the Muslims!
By the final night, the crowd had swelled to five times the size of the first night’s crowd. Thousands of people were saved, including many Muslims who were drawn to the festival grounds out of curiosity to see if Jesus was really healing people….and He was! Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Koussila comes from a Hindu family. She became a believer several years ago and ever since, she has had one prayer. Her one request to God was for her mother to be saved.
When Koussila heard about the “Healing Festival” she was very excited. She volunteered to help in setting up the festival. For three weeks she worked hard putting all the details of the festival together. Since she speaks English, she was able to translate regularly for our festival director.
As Koussila worked putting up posters and inviting people to the festival, she prayed that her mother would be willing to attend. On the first night of the festival, her prayers were answered. Her mother stood behind the platform as the preaching began. She listened to every word. But, when we led the crowd in the salvation prayer, Koussila’s mother just stood there.
Koussila was helping us translate the miracle testimonies. After the healing testimonies were finished, Koussila left the platform and went to her mother. “Did you pray with the preacher to make Jesus your Lord?” she asked her mother. “No, I have been a Hindu my whole life and I was scared,” came the reply. Koussila began to witness to her mother. She explained the message to her and told her what it means to be a follower of Jesus. After several minutes, she asked her mother, “Would you pray with me and ask Jesus for salvation?” To Koussila’s delight, her mother said, “Yes.” Right there, behind the platform, Koussila led her mother to Jesus.
With tears in her eyes, Koussila brought her mother to us to share the news. Her mother was smiling. She still had a Hindu red dot in the middle of her forehead, but now Jesus was living in her heart. Now Koussila must teach her mother to forsake all her Hindu gods and to follow Jesus alone.

Pastor S******** K***** is building the kingdom of God with painstaking patience. He pastors a church of forty people in V********, India and leads several additional congregations that meet in people’s homes. Pastor K***** has no car; he uses a motorbike to travel to a different village every week for an evangelistic outreach. He only has two rooms in his rented home, but he has dedicated one of those rooms as a prayer room so that Hindus from his neighborhood can come for prayer.
There is often a great price to be paid for winning souls. In broken English, Pastor K***** explained to me how he leads Hindu families to Jesus. First, he finds a Hindu family that is in need. He builds a relationship with the family by visiting their house on a weekly basis. Once he is a friend, he starts sharing the Gospel. He tells them stories about what Jesus did in the Bible. When a member of the family gets sick, he prays for a miracle. Pastor K***** explains, “When the family sees the power of God, then they are willing to become followers of Jesus.” In many cases, six to twelve months pass before the family asks to be baptized.
Pastor K***** took me to visit one of the Hindu families that recently decided to follow Jesus. They showed me the alcove next to their front door where an idol once stood. Now a picture of Jesus has replaced the idol. The whole family decided to be baptized into the Christian faith. Now they are inviting neighbors over to their house to hear stories about Jesus.
I asked the father of the family about his journey to Jesus. He replied, “My brother’s daughter was sick and in the hospital. She needed an operation that cost one Lakh rupees (about $2,000). Pastor K***** came and prayed for her in the Name of Jesus and she was miraculously healed. When I saw the miracle, I wanted to know more about Jesus. I invited Pastor K***** to visit my home and when we heard about the power of Jesus to save and heal we decided to forsake our idols and become believers in Jesus.”
Why is Pastor K***** a success? First, he genuinely cares about people. Second, he builds relationships that become bridges to share the good news. Third, he relies on the power of God to convince people of the truth of God’s Word. Fourth, he is willing to work in difficult conditions to lead people to Jesus. We can learn from some of his methods to reach people right in our hometowns.

Plus we give away thousands of free books and Bibles to help disciple the new believers.
The Bible says that all of heaven rejoices when one sinner gets saved, so for only $1 a month, you can be responsible for starting a party in heaven every single month. Click here to become a monthly partner with us today.
