LaDonna Osborn explained to me how this framework can be used for many messages. There are four elements to every message:
1. The way God created us to be
2. How sin messed up God’s plan
3. How Jesus fixed God’s plan
4. Jesus can restore people to God’s plan
For example, if LaDonna Osborn was preaching to a group of abused woman she might say:
1. God created woman with beauty, dignity and self worth.
2. Sin has destroyed God’s plan and brought pain, hurt, and abuse into the world.
3. Jesus was abused on the cross so you could be set free from abuse.
4. In Christ, you will find your beauty, dignity and self-worth to be restored.
