Introduction: If you come to Jesus tonight, there are 3 things He will do for you for the rest of your life. Do you want to know what they are?

I. Jesus saves me.

A. What is sin?

1. Sin is anything that goes against God’s commands and what he desires for us.

2. Sin is destructive behavior that goes against your God-given purpose.

a. Lying is a sin.

b. Stealing is a sin.

c. Cheating is a sin.

d. Having hate in your heart toward your brother is a sin.

B. Why do you need to be saved from sin?

1. Sin hurts you. Romans 3:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

2. Sin hurts God. Ephesians 4:30 “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”

3. Sin hurts others. Ephesians 4:31-32 “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

C. Jesus can save you from your sin.

1. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9 NKJV).

2. “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).

II. Jesus keeps me.

A. Once Jesus saves you, he doesn’t leave you. Hebrews 13:5 “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

B. Jesus always stays with you. Matthew 28:20 (NKJV) “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

C. Jesus wants to have a close relationship with you if you want to be close to him. James 4:8a “Come near to God and he will come near to you.”

III. Jesus satisfies me.

A. When you are seeking God’s kingdom, Jesus both provides for you and satisfies you. Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

B. The things of the world cannot satisfy you.

1. Money won’t satisfy you.

2. Fame won’t satisfy you.

3. Sex won’t satisfy you.

4. Drugs or alcohol won’t satisfy you.

C. Only Jesus can satisfy you. And he will.

1. John 4:14 (NKJV) “Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

2. Matthew 5:6 (ESV) “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”

IV. Do you want to be saved, kept, and satisfied tonight and for the rest of your life?

A. Lead those who respond in salvation through prayer.
