Main Idea: When you come to Jesus, you receive three things. First, you receive forgiveness for your sins. Second, you receive a friend. Third, you receive a wonderful future.

Introduction: What are the benefits of coming to Jesus? There are many blessings you will receive when you make Jesus the Lord of your life, but today I want to focus on three things that you receive when your come to Jesus.
I. Forgiveness
A. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9 NKJV).
B. “I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord, and You forgave the iniquity of my sin” (Psalm 32:5 NKJV).
C. “To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins” (Acts 10:43 NKJV).
D. “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us” (Psalm 103:12 NKJV).
E. “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18 NKJV).
F. “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out” (Acts 3:19 NKJV).
II. A Friend
A. “There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother” (Proverbs 18:24 NKJV).
B. “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13 NKJV).
C. “And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, ‘Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.’ And he was called the friend of God” (James 2:23 NKJV).
III. A Future.
A. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV).
B. “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV).
Prayer: Dear God in Heaven, Thank You for loving me and sending Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. Jesus, I believe You died for me and rose from the dead. Today, I repent of my sins and invite You to come into my heart. Jesus, forgive me! Wash away my sins and make me as white as snow. Thank You for giving me a brand-new beginning. Jesus, be my friend! Thank You for loving me and promising to never leave me. Help me to walk with You every day of my life. Jesus, give me a future! Fill my heart with hope. Guide my steps and help me fulfill Your plan for my life. Thank You for the gift of eternal life. Today, I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. From this day forward, I belong to You. Thank You, Jesus, for giving me forgiveness, a friend, and a future! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
