Main Idea: Living in a garage does not make you a car, neither does going to church make you a Christian.
Key Verse: “These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me” (Matthew 15:8 NKJV).
Illustration:
* Sleeping in a barn does not make you a cow.
* Visiting a garage does not make you a car.
* Taking a trip to the zoo does not make you a monkey.
* Going to church does not make you a Christian.
The only way to be a Christian is to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Lots of people go to church, but they are not true Christians because they have never cried out to Jesus for salvation.
