Evangelist Daniel King (01:04):
Welcome to the evangelism podcast. I’m Daniel King. I’m excited about telling people about Jesus. Today I have a very special guest with me, Lucas Korf from South Africa. Thank you for being on the evangelism podcast.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (01:17):
It’s a privilege to be here and I look forward to what the Lord would do through this moment.
Evangelist Daniel King (01:22):
Amen. So let’s start in South Africa. You have a long history of evangelism in South Africa, pastored several churches, ministered at a bunch of schools. Tell me some about what you did to evangelize in South Africa.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (01:38):
So I think what’s interesting how God has a sense of humor, I would call it. I happened in this world as an accident, a forced accident. My beloved mother was sitting in the backstreet abortion house in Johannesburg trying to get rid of the thing inside, which was me. I won the race. I didn’t know what else to do. I was in that space and somehow somewhere she was not a child of God, but I believe the Holy Spirit can speak to people that aren’t yet his property. And so she heard a whisper that said, “Don’t do it. ” And she had to leave this backstreet abortion situation under medication and I came into the world and it’s a privilege and I thank God that it didn’t happen as such, but if you take the first 19 years of my life, there were many times I wish he did.
(02:57):
At the time, I didn’t know how it happened and had an unnatural hatred for my natural father, which was absolutely unnatural. And at the age of five, I stuck my finger in his face and said, “One day when I’m big, I will kill you. ” And obviously got to be down for that and life went on. We escaped him for quite a few years. We heard of his death when I was 16 years old and me and my mother celebrated with cheap wine, got really drunk, celebrating that the curse was dead
Evangelist Daniel King (03:33):
When your father passed away.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (03:34):
When we heard he was murdered. Wow. Our only regret was why couldn’t it be recorded or why couldn’t we have been witnesses to it? So that’s how damaged my brain was. Wow.
(03:47):
And in that time and in that season, one day my mom in a crazed rage situation that I, because I was a bit of a rageful young person, failed three times, never ended up finishing school. And that’s why it was so interesting how God would eventually use me to speak, although I never spoke once in my entire school career, of which I did three years extra. When you have to speak in class, I would just walk straight to the principle, get six lashes and go and smoke stuff on the playground afterwards. I just never spoke. I couldn’t speak unless I was under some kind of an influence. And so in that time, my mom one day said to me that you just like you. Wow.
(04:44):
The worst thing I could ever hear in my life. So I did not yet understand that you become like that, which you don’t forgive. And so I was in a massive car accident on a rugby tour and car fell on my back, rolled off a car. The truck rolled on and fell on my back, broke my pelvis in five places, burst bladder, internal bleeding, rupture of the spine. My on lung fell flat and I had a near death experience, which I didn’t know what that was. I just thought I was busy having some kind of a drug experience. I didn’t use any drugs for two days prior to that. So it was a weird experience. But in this experience I fell, I leaked into the earth. So I leaked out of my body in a circular motion falling into the earth, which was a bit of a weird experience, but the darkness was fearful and I felt like I was drowning in fear
Evangelism Podcast Host (05:48):
And
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (05:48):
It got more intense and a suffocating feeling, which was one of my fears of being in small places where I can’t breathe in positions I ended up in with my father, being in a situation where I can’t get out. And in this moment, the lady that was on the accident scene asked me a question. So the short little questions that defined my life were asked by women and she asked me, “Do you know Jesus?” And the knowledge of Jesus wasn’t something I could call on because I did not have an understanding. I did not like Christians. I had a very warped sense of what Jesus was. So I rejected religious Jesus because I did not understand yet that there’s a difference between relationship and religion. And a young 11 year old kid once gave me a definition for religion and it made perfect sense. Religion’s a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat, which is not in the room and he finds it.
(06:58):
And then I went on and furthered that statement by saying, “Then that man goes and builds a doctrine on the thing he experienced that wasn’t based on truth of Jesus and convinces people to believe what he’s saying.” So religion’s an ugly thing and Satan’s the author of religion, but relationship is completely different. So when I chose the Jesus my granny told me of when I was five years old, I remembered thinking that Jesus. And in the moment, in that moment, in the spirit world, there was an eruption that I could never explain since and it’s 36 years ago and it’s as if it happened a second ago. It’s so clear, blue explosion of fire, blue fire of God, very blue, very light and these demons, these demons who came, I thought it’s Iron Made and I thought in my head, why is Iron Maiden speaking to me in English?
(08:01):
Because if you welcome me into my eternal destiny, which they were doing, then say it to me in my mother tongue. I’m not going anywhere in eternity if you don’t speak me in my language, which is just such an idiotic. I mean, how far gone must soul be to be so stupid, really, really stupid. And in that moment when I called on Jesus, I just said his name. I just said his name, this fire, the judicial punishment upon the forces of darkness cannot be fathomed by children of God. We have no idea the power of prayer and the power of sharing the simple gospel. It’s backed by his blood and by his glory. And in that moment I was brought back into my body and pain and doctors and ambulances and crazy environment and I was in an a coma state in that time. Three days was so funny on the third day I came out of my coma.
Evangelist Daniel King (09:18):
How old were you when the accident –
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (09:20):
19.
Evangelist Daniel King (09:20):
Wow.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (09:21):
19. And when I awoke and the doctors started working with me, they just kept on telling me and telling my mom that… So all these medical terms and I’m like, “Can someone just speak English to me? What does this mean?” All these spinal rupture of the spine and this. And they said, “Well, bro, you’re not going to walk again. So we’re going to start preparing you. How are you going to live in a wheelchair?” I’m like, “No ma, there’s some kind of a confusion.” 11 weeks later it sort of sunk in because now I’m lying on sheep skin with catheters stuck in all over the place and I call on him again because I had this encounter with him, but I was still… I didn’t know if he’s angry with me. I
Evangelism Podcast Host (10:09):
Had this thing,
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (10:09):
My type of people where I come from and what we get up to, people told us these Christian people, Bible bashing type people said, “God, you not God’s type.” I’m like, “Wow, I know. I know we aren’t, but man, seriously, just tell me to my face, say something cool.” And so in week 11, another lady came and gave me a one short little sentence statement. It was my sister who found Jesus, Pastor Theo Wilmaranza’s church and she went all weird on us from a half a Satanic cough punk to a lady that was wearing floral dresses like an old person. We were so worried about my sister and all her strange people she was talking to alone in the room and we thought, “We don’t even know people. Who’s she speaking to? ” And she came into my room only the one time and out of all the time I was in hospital because I would have chased her out
Evangelism Podcast Host (11:04):
Because
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (11:05):
I knew she was going to come and do some Bible dashing, though she didn’t do that. She came in, she said, “Jesus can heal you. ” And she left.
(11:16):
And that night, I don’t know, I’m not allowed to do it yet. If you heal me, I will speak of you all the days of my life and I will stand for you. So it was two things that I thought I’m praying a prayer that I’m not really knowing what I’m praying, but both of my prayers had catches in it. I thought that I hope he doesn’t realize, how stupid can you be? “If you heal me, I’ll speak of you. I can’t speak without smoking something or using something. So I thought he was going to allow me to still have some of my old life, otherwise I couldn’t speak for him and I will stand for you all the days of my life, which means you’ll have to heal me, otherwise I can’t stand for you. And if you don’t do these things, then the deal’s off, such a stupid thing to pray, but thank God to an infinite God who can do anything.
(12:16):
He smiled in me and he granted both those things. I felt the healing power come into… I did not know what I was feeling. It was very different to the moment of conversion. There was something else happening and it was a love. So from drowning in liquid fear to living in unfathomable love and acceptance, which was a very strange thing to me and a lifelong journey because my entire life has been a fight and a struggle to try and do the things of God right. But many times I didn’t get to the God of the things. I started walking. It was a long rehab process, started going to church by Pastor Theo of Omarrance and there was a crazy person preaching American and in this big audience as he was preaching, he pointed to me in the midst of many, many people and he said,” Come here.
(13:21):
“And I went forward and he gave me the mic. And so God in his divine wisdom knew that there would be a moment where I will be called upon and given a mic and I did not know what to do with that. And all I can remember is when I realized I’ve been speaking for a while, the flow of God was just irreversible and I was saying things that I did not even know what I was speaking about and people will say,” Where did you learn the series of scriptures like you quoted them? “And I’m like, ” I don’t want to tell them, I don’t know too many scriptures yet. Really? What did I say? “And so scripture started flowing out of my experience, but it’s God’s word. So his words to me was his word and I was just saying his words and that became the first time that I preached and that was also what opened up doors for me to start preaching in churches and specifically schools all across South Africa and Africa.
Evangelist Daniel King (14:25):
Yeah. Let’s talk a little bit about what you did in the schools. You told me the other day that you went into thousands of schools and – Just over a thousand. Just over a thousand. Tell me a little bit about what that would look like. What would you do to encourage the kids and how would you help lead them to Jesus?
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (14:47):
So when the invitation came to speak to an entire school, I did not want to tell them that I have a bit of a bad school. I said,” This is impossible. I don’t know what I just did, but I can’t do that again. “But they invited me and I stood in front of the thousand plus children and I’m like, ” Lord, what am I even going to say? How am I even going to do this? “And he said,” When they give you when they give you the mic, you’ll know. “And every single time since when the mic is placed there, he speaks. And there were times when the mic was given but the sound system didn’t work. If you work in Africa, you will know. Sometimes you better do a George Whitfield, you better project. But every single time it happens, I simply shared this story, but it always comes out differently.
(15:51):
It came out so differently now and this always happens. So you would think 36 years later it would every time I speak of it, I always think of, ” Lord, can you use this to someone who finds this and someone life could be changed by hearing this. “I never take for granted the moment to share because it’s not so much what we say, but how much of him we allow to say it through us.
(16:51):
And that was the pattern. So people ask me, ” How did you get to all these schools? “”I don’t know. ” And people asked me to come speak at conferences explaining to people how to do this. “I don’t know. “”No, come on, bro. Get us in on this. I can’t get you in on this. If the Holy Spirit unctions you to do it, do it, but I can’t give you a five step formula to do it. ” And even in the evangelism side of it, I felt so compelled to find people that need to hear it. I realized that pretty much wherever you go, they need to hear it. And it was so interesting I was taking a team out in the very area where my mom sat in that Backstreet Abortion House, I was leading evangelism teams to go and evangelize that area.
(17:46):
And the one night we had a whole bunch of people with us and I was teaching them prophetic evangelism. I don’t even know what it meant. This is like 25 years ago. I just thought, Lord’s using me prophetically, why can’t I use the gifts of the Holy Spirit to speak to someone mysteries that the Holy Spirit only knows about them and it’s just so much easier because the person’s like dumbstruck with, “What did you just say?” And so in this specific night, I had all these young people behind me and I said to them, “Stand here.” And I saw a man come walking to me. So I chose an easy target, a street ma, a hobo with a dog. And so as this man came closer to me, I wanted to demonstrate to them how this works. And as he came closer, I was like, “Whoa, what’s going on here?” And as he stood in front of me, it was my father who was supposed to be dead, who I never got to forgive.
(18:47):
That’s now a street magging for Booz money using his dog. And I’m like, “What the heck? What’s happening here?” And I said to him, I didn’t know what to say to him. “Hi, dad. How father –
Evangelist Daniel King (19:03):
It was really your father.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (19:04):
“My natural father who’s supposed to be dead in a bad way, I don’t even know how I recognized him. And I said,” How’s it pops, which is the wrong thing to say someone where we come from. That means let’s rumble. “And he went at me the very same shot he taught me to use on children that irritate me, he tried to punch me with. So I ducked a shot
(19:29):
And he started running because I literally knew what he was doing and that confirmed to me that what is happening here is real. I chased him. So these kids are like, ” We’re not standing on this street corner. He’s dragging the dog. I’m chasing him trying to just, listen, how’s this working? “And so I find him and he’s sitting against the pavement and he’s breathing hard and the dog’s injured and I said to him,” It’s me. I’m your son. “Oh man, he looks at me. It’s a cover of a book. He looks at me with absolute nothingness and he just says,” I know. What do you want me to do about it? “I’m like, ” Wow, so many things you could have done father. “And I stood there and I was on my way to leave. I was done with this. This is like, I want to get out of this situation because I’m having real negative thoughts in my head and I’m like, ” Lord, what’s happening to me?
(20:29):
“And as I looked at him and felt really pitiful like, ” You such a bad human, you pathetic human. “And the Holy Spirit just said,” Take him home. “And I’m like, ” I don’t want a pet. I don’t want a dog. I’m doing Bible school at the time. I don’t have time for a dog. “And he said,” No, take your father and the dog. “So I took him into my house
(20:52):
And a series of events happened.
Evangelist Daniel King (20:56):
This is like a reverse prodigal son. Instead of coming home to your father, you brought your father into your home.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (21:03):
Sure. That’s a book right there. And it was a crazy time with him because he was really a deranged man. He tried to attack me. God drunk and told me he want to kill. He wants to kill me. I’m like, ” Bro, I’m the kid here. What’s all this rage about? “And the Holy Spirit said to me, ” Disciple him. “I’m like, ” I can’t even speak to him. He doesn’t comprehend something wrong with his brain and the holy… Forgive him. “I’m like, ” I can’t. I don’t have the ability to do this. “And the Holy Spirit said,” Good place to get to. “You don’t, you’re right. So ask the Holy Spirit to give you the grace because that’s what grace means to forgive him. And in a split moment, so much so at that time, everyone knew me as Wesley. My nickname from my boxing years was Wesley and everyone called me Wesley and the Lord said to me, ” What’s your name?
(22:23):
“As I was going through this forgiving process and I’m like, ” Wesley? “He says,” No, no, not your nickname. What stands on your ID and my name on my ID is Luke Us. “And that week in Bible school through going through names in Greek of the Bible and what it means, Luke means beloved physician and the light bearer. And he said,” From this day, from that day, my name was what my grandfather’s name was because I was named after my grandfather, which is his father, which he hated because the pattern was repeating.
Evangelism Podcast Host (23:00):
So
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (23:01):
Now I say to him, You have to call me by my name. My name is Lucas, which is his father’s name, and that would make someone like that really get mad. But the moment he called me by my name, healing came to you
(23:20):
And days later in the simplest way, simple way of this is how it works, he’s like, “I understand.” And he prayed with me, he confessed the ABCDs of God, then I didn’t have the D yet and he became a child of God. He led people to Jesus in his hordes, in his weakness, because he still had a drinking problem and he was known by his funeral. They called him the drunk Jesus and I was so disturbed by that statement and the Holy Spirit said to me, “How much of you in this moment of your life, what are the words you will be known by, Lucas?” The radical evangelists, the crazy warrior, the prayer warrior, 50% of what he will be remembered by is Jesus, may have been the drunk Jesus, but that weakness of him was surrendered.
Evangelist Daniel King (24:17):
But at least he wasn’t just the drunk.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (24:19):
He had
Evangelist Daniel King (24:19):
Jesus in his life.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (24:21):
And that was the most beautiful thing to me. And since that day, I have everything I do and everything I attempt, if the name Jesus isn’t involved in the statement or what I will be remembered as, and I would prefer to be the Jesus evangelist or the cube, Jesus is in the cube, Jesus is in the bottle flip. Jesus is in the way they communicate and if anything, they will know us by one thing, the love we have for one another because of Jesus. So it was a beautiful moment and he’s with the Lord and he’s making plans for me and it’s been a beautiful knowledge to know that he is with the Lord.
Evangelist Daniel King (25:04):
What an awesome testimony. You just mentioned the Rubik’s Cube and the bottle flipping. And one of the things that I find very intriguing about your ministry is that your family has several many world records with the Guinness Book of World Records for –
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (25:24):
Not with a Guineas book. Okay. Guinea’s book, I have been rejected more than any other person by Guineas. Any video, any world record that’s submitted to Guineas, if it’s got Christian content in is rejected.
Evangelist Daniel King (25:39):
They rejected. Okay. So you have many world records. World records. And you use these world records in order to catch people’s attention and then to present Jesus to them. So tell me some of the world records that you have and how you use them to bring people to Jesus.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (25:59):
So I’ve got multiple world records from cycling the Cape August, which is the biggest cycling race in the world without a saddle on the bike standing all the way in cut of time, to doing a spinathon on top of a 18 story high rise crane to hitting the longest holy in one patent golfing history.
Evangelist Daniel King (26:16):
And how long was that?
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (26:18):
115 meters with a putter from the tee box on a par three in the hole.
Evangelist Daniel King (26:24):
And you hit it.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (26:26):
1,250 attempts. 1,220 attempts. Wow. The fastest round of golf with just the putter, boxing, mit combo world records, charcostic world records, Bruce Lee Charkistic vibes. I did that for an event that we were busy with. The longest holding of the breath while doing most bench presses, three meters under the water on one breath in cold water without a wetsuit, with sea rescue people with their three mill wetsuits ready to rescue me in case something goes wrong to my favorite of all of them on a tandem bicycle cycling around the coastline of South Africa, Joshua style going around the country, prophesying God’s destiny and potential into the country on a tandem bicycle without a sudden or a pole standing all the way, 100 days around the coast of South Africa, because if you stand for nothing, you fall for anything. And in that journey we distributed, created and distributed 500,000 identity audio Bibles across South Africa into the hands of children all across the country.
(27:37):
And we are now busy with a project where we will be distributing 250,000 such audio Bibles, the same one, who would’ve known that there’s 250 scriptures in that seven years ago when I created it for a time such as this.
Evangelist Daniel King (27:52):
So tell me about that. You’re here in America and you’re traveling around with your family to different states in America and calling America to remember their foundations in their Christian faith. Tell me about that.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (28:07):
So the word remember is a heavy word for me because the devil would want us to remember and he would continually remind us of things that would debilitate our souls and spirits, but Holy Spirit also reminds us. And when we start reminding ourselves of the word of God, something shifts. And when we start praying the words that we remember, because Jesus would always say, “I do nothing unless I see the Father do it first.” So he remembered what his father said and that he would act and there would be a great anointing upon that. There’s something different than someone hearing the word of God and remembering it so that his actions are simmered with the Holy Spirit in the remembrance. So the remember is really X two. Remember what your America America remember what your founding fathers fought for on these fields of favor, the land of the brave and the free when they escaped tyranny and came to this place for religious freedom, religious freedom and the George Whitfield that came and preached to 80% of every single American alive at the time, remember America who you are and what you are founded upon.
(29:33):
Remember America whose you are, because if you remember whose you are, your life changes forevermore because it’s not based on what I do, it’s whose I am that changes the mindset with inner soul and then remember America who for your children are worth fighting for. So we go to the different states. We are on a journey at the moment called 50X where we travel Build to 50 states in a hundred days. We’ve been stuck a bit in Tulsa due to various challenges. So we won’t be finishing it in 50 days, but we’re not going to give up. And we then go around and we do these bottle flips at memorable moments and monuments.
Evangelist Daniel King (30:15):
Okay. Tell me about your son. How old is your son and how many world records does he hold with bottle flipping? It’s a plastic bottle about half full of water. You just flip it like up in the air and it lands. How many in a row has your son done?
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (30:33):
So he’s done 3000 consecutively in a row. Without fail. Without
Evangelist Daniel King (30:40):
Fail.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (30:40):
And
Evangelist Daniel King (30:41):
How old is your
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (30:41):
Son? If he fails on 2,700, he has to start over. So that’s mind blowing. He’s 11 now.
Evangelist Daniel King (30:48):
Wow.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (30:48):
He’s also got the fastest cap on cap bottle flip in the world where you flip the bottle, it lands and then you take another bottle and you flip it so that the two caps land on top of each other and the bottle sits, which is only God. It’s a really difficult thing to do. And then he has another one, most bottle flips in 60 seconds blindfolded.
Evangelist Daniel King (31:15):
Wow. Okay. So you have a prophetic word attached to this idea of flipping. Tell me about that.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (31:23):
We call it flip the script. So wherever we do this bottle flip at any one of these memorable places in America, we are flipping the script of whatever religious or political negativity was connected to whatever happened there. Because not all the monuments are positive. Not all the people who ruled this nation were positively inclined. Not all of them were kingdom people. Not all of them were Christians. But we flip the script by doing a prophetic declaration by this water within this container, which represents the Holy Spirit, the light that flickers through it, which is the Holy Spirit coming in and Jesus is the life, the water itself, and the container which is us. If we allow the Holy Spirit within us, we can do the 360 and we can lead others to the turning point moment. So when we do the flip the script and whenever someone sees it, we trust in God that that will be the contact point and the trigger for the soul to see more than just the trick we’re doing.
(32:37):
But it’s flipping the script in 50 states like Joshua went seven times around the mountain. I think what stood out for me the day when we were speaking, you made a statement and you said they went around Jericho once a day for seven days. And on the seventh day they went seven times. The power was not in the fact that they did the action, but all the shout, it was the fact that they were obedient. So the act of obedience brings a sound that resonates even if we didn’t say it. So people will know us, they will recognize us because of the love. Love is a sound. It’s a frequency in the spirit world. It’s something that resonates with a spirit man that’s not born again yet is drawn to mine because it’s light. So that action becomes a declaration and a prophetic manifestation of the intended purpose of the thing we’re doing.
(33:44):
So we have seen so many people find Jesus with that little stupid youth phenomenon called a bottle flip and we call it flip the script.
Evangelist Daniel King (33:54):
This is the perfect time for you to travel around America because we are celebrating 250 year birthday party ever since the America first became a nation. And I really am grateful that God has brought you here for all the way from South Africa, bringing Jesus to America because we need to see a revival in America. We need another great awakening in this nation.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (34:26):
Great awakening is the word because we need another awakening because we don’t want a repeat of an old awakening. I have no desire to have another awakening. I want what God is trying to do. So this is the great awakening. What happened with George Whitfield was an awakening. This is the greatest moment of human experience on this planet. There’s stuff shifting in the spirit world and you can see the devil is nervous. You can see in a combat sport, the two people in the combat situation, when the person starts getting agro and it’s anger that’s now driving him, the person to which it’s driven to knows I now have the overhand. I now have the advantage, but you have to stay contained because you have to defend the onslaughts. And the only way we can defend the onslaughts of flipping the script is the craziness with which he is attacking our very identity.
(35:42):
He’s attacking the identity not just of the existing, the generation that’s coming up, to those who has survived the craziness of abortion. To those who survived it, he’s trying to debilitate the identity. And if he can do that, he’s got this generation.
Evangelist Daniel King (36:01):
Thank you so much for sharing your powerful testimony and especially the testimony of how your father came to Jesus and you were able to forgive him and then God forgave him. It’s so powerful. And if someone wants to know more about your family or about what you’re doing here in America, what’s a good way for them to find out more about you?
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (36:25):
They can go to rememberamerica250.com and there will be all information needed. We may get another time where I’ll explain this, but we will be leaving 50,000 of these cubes with a QR code around America around the time of trick or treating, which is a big thing in America apparently and around Christmastime where random strangers will be finding this. And when they go to the QR code, they will not just be taught to solve a Rubik’s cube, but they will be taught the algorithm of the gospel and we will show them in the journey that we teach them to solve this cube, they will have found the greatest gift that they have ever found somewhere in America and that will be finding Jesus on the cross. Okay.
Evangelist Daniel King (37:23):
I’m very intrigued about that. Tell me a little bit about the algorithm of the gospel. How does that work?
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (37:29):
Okay. So what happens is this is the biggest toy ever created. No one doesn’t know about this, but for me personally, this was a youth. It was an emotional… I hated this thing.
Evangelist Daniel King (37:47):
Yeah.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (37:48):

I was a kid, I tried to do a Rubik’s Cube and I could not figure out how to get it back where it was supposed to be.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (37:55):
And I was told by my peers who were all the Christian kids at school, they told me, “Solve one side, bro. You won’t be able to solve all of it. Solve just one.” And I tried and I tried and I tried and they said to me, “Just like your father, total idiot.” And man, I felt… And every time I saw a cube, I just got so aggravated because I was the stupid child. But in COVID, as I’m sitting with my children in lockdown in South Africa, I saw a cube in between all my, like your

Entrance.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (38:33):
I had my ministry studio and I saw a cube standing there. I’m like, “What? Where did I get that from?” And the Lord said to me, “You want me to teach you? ” I’m like, “Huh? That will be really deep.” I had to go find… He showed me which video to go watch. And as I started watching it, the first step to solve the Rubik’s Cube on the International Federation of Cubes is you have to start with a white cross. You build the entire algorithm on the foundation of the cross and I knew God’s up to something. Then the Holy Spirit showed me in the beginning the cubes, one of the coaching programs we do with churches and with groups of people and leadership of churches, we give them a blank black cube. In the beginning there was nothing. Then we got all the stickers that they have to start sticking on and you have to stick them in specific sequences.
(39:29):
You can’t just stick the colors where you want. Blue is always opposite to green. Orange is always opposite to red and white’s always opposite to orange and everything works in a sequence. God created man as his masterpiece connected to the identity audio Bible in perfect form so that he could rule in reign. And then the devil came and brought deception into the heart of Eve and she convinced her husband. Then we’re sitting where most of us are and where most people are finding themselves. And
Evangelist Daniel King (40:04):
Our lives are mixed up. They’re out of control. It’s in chaos.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (40:08):
And noth we do, no commitment of any form of work. You have to pray three hours a day. Okay. I’m praying, Lord.
Evangelism Podcast Host (40:21):
Yeah.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (40:21):
I’m praying. You have to read the Bible for an hour a day and memorize 10 verses at least. I’m doing that. You have to go do outreach and you have to do evangelism. None of the stuff of God brings the solution.
Evangelist Daniel King (40:37):
And so religion is like moving the Rubik’s Cube all over the
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (40:42):
Place
Evangelist Daniel King (40:42):
And it never seems to make things right.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (40:45):
Keep you busy with the stuff of God. And then when we start looking at it, the first step of solving this cube, and this is where it becomes so interesting, we call this the daisy. So it’s not specifically the first step, but when we bring the daisy into place, if you can see that there,
Evangelist Daniel King (41:07):
You have the weight cross.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (41:09):
Not yet.
Evangelist Daniel King (41:09):
Oh, not yet.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (41:10):
Not yet. Before you get the revelation of the cross, you need the revelation of the love of the Father. You never have to wander again or leave it to chance. He loves me. He loves me not. He loves me. He loves me not. Yes, he loves you. How do we know that he loved us? We need to align. We need to align the love of God with kingdom intentions and purposes. Now look what happens when we align and flip the script something profound happens.
Evangelist Daniel King (41:47):
Now you have the white cross.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (41:48):
Now you have the white cross and upon this cross you build the foundation. And what’s interesting, the four cornerstones of the cross is you have to accept what Jesus did for you. You have to believe what Jesus did for you. You have to confess in your heart what Jesus did for you and then you need to commit to be disciplined unto discipleship and then you need to repeat. And once you’ve repeated the process, now you find someone else to show this to. Discipleship is part of the process. And then when that happens, you place the cornerstones into… So that’s a whole algorithm that you then do. But when you start placing the cornerstones in, something else profound happens. Now the cornerstones are placed in and the entire foundation is now solved. Now upon the cross and the foundation of the principles of how we share the gospel and live by faith, the entire bottom, I do not have to look down again.
(43:01):
I have to trust that everything that he said it is, it is. But the moment that happens, look what happens to the bottom layer of the cube.
(43:12):
Faith, hope and love. When you reverse that, love is connected to faith. So now you need to, again, with alignment, you need to follow the algorithm. Now the algorithms start coming into play. So unless you follow the algorithm, these things don’t work. You have to be aligned and you have to bring things into alignment with the algorithm. So the moment we start doing that, something very specific starts happening. And this is where it gets really powerful. When I focus on what’s done below, I focus on the faith connected to the cross. I focus on the hope that I have in is now I need to trust the love process, not just for me but through me. Then something else peculiar starts happening across forms on the top. As it is on earth, let it be as it is in heaven. Let it be so. And then we start applying the algorithms on the top and then we need to repeat the algorithms.
(44:20):
And this is where many people get stuck because you have to follow the algorithm. If you follow the algorithm, now the bottom is solved, the top is solved. Trust God that as it is on earth, as it is in heaven, let it so be on earth. And now we need to simply repeat the process. Then we again align and then something starts kicking in. Now that’s solved. That is solved and that is solved. And if I keep my fingers there, it looks like the cube solved, but this is not a – But you’re
Evangelist Daniel King (44:54):
Still missing a couple of pieces.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (44:57):
Do not leave the things God’s dealing with you with. If you leave the things he’s dealing with, you’re going to start to scramble all over again. You have to trust the process. And once you start applying that proces, then something more interesting happens and this is where it gets so powerful. My son normally does this demo for me. Now something, remember turn the script. You turn the script and you trust him and
Evangelist Daniel King (45:30):
Now it’s
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (45:30):
Completely
Evangelist Daniel King (45:30):
Done.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (45:33):
This is how you must go do evangelism, preferably from a healed state. Can he use someone that still has areas to deal with? Absolutely he can because the cross remains the same. So now matter if we ready or not ready yet, he’s ready. All you need to do is trust him, but we’re going to heaven because of that. We are bringing earth down because of that, but we need to trust that we’ve got a purpose on earth and our purpose is to bring back what the first Adam lost. And the second Adam came and showed us we can be complete in Christ if we follow the algorithm.
Evangelist Daniel King (46:17):
That’s awesome. I love how you use the Rubik’s cube to share the gospel. That is powerful. And I would love to use it if I could only learn how to solve one of these. All right. Well, Lucas, thank you so much for being on the evangelism podcast. I really appreciate it.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (46:33):
My brother, that was interesting.
Evangelist Daniel King (46:35):
And I’m praying for your family and I believe that God is going to give you great fruit in all your endeavors. So thank you. God bless you.
Lukas Korff – Evangelist from South Africa (46:45):
Amen. Bless you, my friend.
