Main Idea: You do not know if you will be alive tomorrow. Do not wait until later to get saved. Today is your day for salvation.
Key Verse: “We are dust. As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more” (Psalm 103:14-16 NKJV).
Story: Once there was a man who came to a church service. The preacher preached about Jesus and invited people to make a decision to repent. The man was standing at the back of the church. The preacher noticed a tear in his eye and asked him, “Sir, are you ready to give your life to Jesus?”
The man said, “No, I need to think about it. I will come back tomorrow and ask Jesus to forgive me.”
The preacher begged him, “Please, the Bible says, ‘Now is the day of salvation.’ Will you make a decision to trust Jesus.”
Again the man declined the opportunity and he walked out of the church. As the man rode home on his motorcycle, a big truck crossed the center line of the road and ran into the man. Instantly he died. For him, it was too late.
