On today’s episode of The Evangelism Podcast you will hear Daniel King minister on “Boldness for Evangelism” at the EveryONE Thailand conference in Bangkok, Thailand, hosted by the Global Evangelist Alliance. Over two thousand pastors and church leaders gathered together for this kickoff event to evangelize Thailand. The nation of 70 million people is only 2% Christian, but the churches of Thailand have a goal to increase the number of Christians to be 10% of the population. This would represent a total of 7 million souls coming to Jesus. The goal of EveryONE Thailand is to take the Gospel to all 77 provinces of Thailand over the next eighteen months!

I want to tell you another story. When I was 14 years old, I went on a mission trip to the country of Jamaica.

Jamaica is a very hot country. And so all day we were running through the neighborhoods, passing out flyers, inviting people to come to the crusade

T. And then when nighttime came, we

Wanted to return to our hotel,

A shower

And go

To bed. But all the water in the hotel was shut off. So we said, what do we do? One person in the group was a smart missionary. In the hotel, there is a pool of water in wash in the pool. We went to the pool and we began to wash ourselves. And as we’re playing in the pool, I noticed that on the side of the pool, there was a light that had smoke coming out of it,

Were some sparks. So very foolishly

The smoking light.

I was looking at the light, electricity entered the

And it shocked my

And it scared me because you can die from electricity.

I shot die. I pulled myself out of the pool and I began to walk away, and I was thanking God. I said, thank you, God for saving me. Thank you for saving me.

I was six steps away from the pool. Suddenly I remembered all of my friends were still

In the pool.

I became concerned for their

Safety. I rushed back over to them. I said, guys, get out of the pool. You stay in the pool, you’re going to die. Do you know what my friends did? They laughed at me. I said, no, get out of the pool. And I started grabbing them, them pulling them out of the pool. And finally they all got out the pool.

And thank God that one died that day. But then God spoke to me and God said, Daniel, I want you to have the same

Saving people from hell as you had saving your friends from the pool. You see many people, they get saved and they walk away saying, thank you God for saving me.
