Evangelist Daniel King (00:01):
Welcome to the Evangelism Podcast. I’m Daniel King. I’m excited about telling people about Jesus. Today I have a very special guest with me, Roman Niche. Thank you so much for being on the Evangelism Podcast.

Evangelist Roman Nechay (00:13):
It’s my pleasure, Daniel.

Evangelist Daniel King (00:15):
You were one of the students of the Evangelism Bootcamp with Christ for All Nations, and I had the privilege of teaching the students, and then you went out to the mission field and you have been driven by one vision to reach a million people for Jesus. So Roman, tell me, how is it going?

Evangelist Roman Nechay (00:38):
Praise the Lord Daniel. I’m so grateful. First of all, I just want to say thank you. I honor you, what you’re doing for Jesus, winning souls for Christ. And I want to say thank you for Christ for all nations for training me and Daniel Colinda to put their trust in me and Jesus, of course, for allowing me to preach the gospel. When I was 18 years old, 19 years old, I was praying to Jesus on my knees. I said, “Lord, use me to bring one million people to you. ” And little did I know that this is how it’s going to turn out through Christ for all nations. By God’s grace, Daniel, we have seen 503,000 decisions for Christ just three weeks ago. We just hit that number.

Evangelist Daniel King (01:17):
What an amazing accomplishment. Now, you have actually been with me on the evangelism podcast before. And what’s really interesting, that was like three or four years ago. And at that time, you were talking about this great desire to go out and to reach a million people for Jesus. And now you have passed the halfway mark. And so I’m so proud of you. I’m so amazed at what God is doing through you. And you have been going to nation after nation, harvesting in the harvest fields, bringing people to Jesus. Tell me some about some of the nations you’ve been to most recently and what you’ve seen God do there.

Evangelist Roman Nechay (02:00):
Yeah. We’ve been to Asia, Africa. We’ve been to 49 nations so far. I was just on a trip to Madagascar, to Mauritius. I was also in Thailand as you are also preaching the gospel there. Well, we’re seeing that God is moving. We’re seeing that God is moving different nations in the poor regions and the better regions just all over. But one testimony that comes to mind, we were preaching the gospel in Madagascar and there was a 12-year-old boy who came up to me afterwards. He says, “I want to change. I’ve been disobedient to teachers, to my parents. I’ve been disruptive in class. I want to change. How do I do it? ” And I said, “Jesus is a solution. Jesus can help you change. He can change your heart.” And so I asked him, “Do you want Jesus to forgive your sins?” He said, “Yes.” We prayed together with him and I saw his countans change there on the spot.

(02:53):
He went from being depressed to smiling to being happy and joyful. And I said, “Did Jesus forgive your sins?” He says, “Yes, Jesus forgave my sins and he ran off playing with his friends. I saw the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in his life, Daniel.”

Evangelist Daniel King (03:07):
And you’re getting ready to lead a team to the island of Mauritius, which is right off of Madagascar. It’s a small island. And the goal is to reach everyone on the island for Jesus. Tell us what you’re planning to do there and what you hope to see God do.

Evangelist Roman Nechay (03:28):
Yes. By God’s grace, we’re leading a team to Mauritius. It’s a small island by Madagascar. It is mostly Hindu and they really truly need the gospel of Jesus Christ. They have shrines, they have these pagan temples all over the place and they don’t know Jesus. And so we’re taking a team of 30 evangelists who are from Christ for all nations. We are doing a Jesus camp training there with 80 individuals who are believers. We’re training them how to preach the gospel. And then we’re going all over the island to preach the gospel of Jesus. We are planning to do 500 outreaches in five days. We are going to be reaching the whole island and we’re going to go after the youth of Jesus Christ. Why the youth? Because 70% of people who make a decision to follow Jesus are under the age of 18. So we want to target the youth.

(04:17):
I was 16 when I came to Jesus. So we’re doing that and then we’re doing a gospel invasion all around the island inside churches and we’re inviting the loss and the unbelievers to the churches to preach the gospel to them. So we’re going to see a revival happen on a small island of Mauritius, but big things that are happening, Daniel.

Evangelist Daniel King (04:37):
Now I was looking at your website, romaneche.com. And I saw that you have a blog on there that I think is very important for people who are in ministry, who are doing evangelism, a subject that they really need to think about. And this is the title, it’s 10 Proven Ways to Avoid Burnout on the Mission Field. And my understanding is that this came really out of your first year of evangelism where you went really, really hard for an entire year and you were dedicated, you’re focused, but then you came to a point where you said, “I need rest.” Why is it important in ministry to have times of rest?

Evangelist Roman Nechay (05:24):
When I was on the mission field in 2022, I was out there for a whole year. I came back and I thought I was done with ministry forever. I didn’t know if God is going to use me. I was doubting my calling. It was very challenging for me. For a whole month, I just crashed. I burned and I didn’t know what was going to happen next. Well, slowly after about three months or so, I recovered and went into more missions and started to preach the gospel. Well, I’ve seen many people burn out on the mission field. Unfortunately, there’s some evangelists even from Christ for All Nations that said, “Hey, I’m not doing missions because I’m done. I cannot do it anymore.” And I don’t want to see that happen to evangelists. God called us to preach the gospel and he called us to run a mararathon, not just to do a short sprint.

(06:12):
So what- Yeah, I

Evangelist Daniel King (06:13):
Think part of the challenge is some people, they get so enthusiastic and they’re like a firework. They go up in the air, big explosion, and then it just dies out. But I like what you said, we’re in a marathon, not a sprint. We want to remain faithful for many years to come. We don’t want to just have a short bit of success and then no one ever hears of us again. We want to continue to run after the things of God five years from now, 10 years, 20 years, all the way until we go to heaven. And in order to do that, you have to pace yourself a little bit. So in this article, you share some secrets of avoiding burnout. Give us some of the keys that really help people.

Evangelist Roman Nechay (07:03):
Yeah. I want to talk about a couple of key things that help me really on the mission field. Number one, I want to talk about being thankful. We oftentimes miss see this while we think, “Oh yeah, we’re just running.” But we don’t actually sit down and just be thankful to God what he has done in our lives. And it could be something small. It could be, “Hey, one person came to Jesus today.” It could be my team members that I’m serving with. It could be just my family back at home just to jot down three to five things every single day of what we are thankful for. That’s one of the things. Another thing I would just encourage people to do is it’s very basic, but it’s essential get enough sleep. On the mission field, I see some people are getting very small amount of sleep, five hours, four hours, and Daniel, some of them are even bragging about, “Oh, I got five hours of sleep last night.” And their eyes are so heavy and it looks like they’re about to fall down on the ground right there and then.

(07:58):
So I want to-

Evangelist Daniel King (08:00):
You can do that for a while, but it’s not good to do it for long periods of time. It will burn you out. Think about God. He created the whole world in six days and then what’d he do? He took a rest. He went and had a Sabbath day and he told us to have Sabbaths in our life. And so we need to get rest, take the time to just relax and recharge our batteries, both physical and spiritual.

Evangelist Roman Nechay (08:29):
Absolutely. So I try to get at least seven to eight hours of sleep and sometimes even that’s not enough to be recharged and fully to go the following day because we’re doing seven to 10 outreaches per day. So we need to be sharp. We need to be healthy, strong mentally and spiritually, and we need to go after those souls. Another thing I wanted to talk about was just keeping a daily journal. See at the things that God has done, the victories from the day, the fears, the worries to the challenges, the breakthroughs, I write those down just to see what’s happening in my mind to let them off my mind and onto the paper or onto the phone and the notes on the phone that helps to just look through the day and just to be stress free. Other things like exercise. I have a jump rope in my backpack.

(09:17):
I keep that just in case. I’m feeling stressed, I’m feeling under pressure. I don’t feel as sharp and I feel foggy. I just go home, I jump rope. I go home and I just sprint for like a minute, then take a 30 second walk and I do it for 20 minutes a day, 20 minutes in that session. And I try to do that at least at least one time a week, sometimes two or three times.

Evangelist Daniel King (09:41):
So last night you and I went for a bike ride around the park, got some good exercise and relaxed a little bit. We went to the sauna and we’re in the sauna talking about good ways to reach people for Jesus. And it’s in those times of exercise and then rest where God can speak to you and give you creativity. What else?

Evangelist Roman Nechay (10:04):
I would say just sit there and just be still. I know this is really hard for evangelists and if you tell, “Hey, you got to sit down and not do anything,” this is going to disrupt their pattern. And so one thing that I started to do myself is just I would hike or I would maybe go and find just a quiet space and I would just sit there. Just either meditate or not even do anything at all and I would just let my head cool off. And that helps me just to reset and just to again feel strong and healthy mentally, just to sit. And sometimes it looks like I’m sitting on a hill, sometimes just outside on the porch, but that helps again to reset. That’s another thing. And one thing, some people that don’t like to hear this, but limit your screen time.

(10:53):
I’m guilty of this, but limit screen time on Facebook, on Instagram. Sometimes I have to delete the apps, even though I want to post everything that’s happening on the mission field, I delete it unless I need to post something urgently and I keep it for two weeks, one week at a time, and then I redownload it and post whatever I need. So that also helps.

Evangelist Daniel King (11:13):
I think screen time is a real danger in this time that we live in. It’s really easy to pick up the phone and start scrolling and suddenly an hour is gone. You’re not rested, you’re emotionally involved in the politics or the different things that people are talking about, even just funny videos and stuff, you get emotionally invested in it and it doesn’t help you to rest. And so my son Caleb, we just gave him a cell phone for Christmas. He just is about to turn 16 and so he’s been asking for one for a long time, but now we have the challenge of teaching him healthy habits around his screen time. And I think that’s something that all of us need is to limit our screen time because when you’re just scrolling, you are not really accomplishing anything.

Evangelist Roman Nechay (12:09):
I agree with you, Daniel. I just want the evangelists to really hear this. Jesus wants us to be healthy. God wants us to run the race that’s set before us and to complete the task ahead of us. And my heart is really to run a race and to go into my old age and preach the gospel to as many people as possible, but also do it in the right way. So I want to encourage these people to just to make sure that you are resting on the mission field. Another thing that helps is just to preplan. Sometimes I like to be spontaneous, but to pre-plan the activities for the weekend. Weekend is a rest day, Saturday, Sunday. For example, going to a museum or going to a zoo or going to a waterpark, whatever it looks like, or maybe just not even doing any of those things and just, again, just sitting there and resting for some period of time, but just to pre-plan those activities so we are fresh and ready to go to preach the gospel powerfully and strongly.

Evangelist Daniel King (13:12):
Well, Roman, you’re doing such an amazing job leading people to Jesus. Congratulations on going over the 500,000 mark of people that you have personally led in a salvation prayer.

Evangelist Roman Nechay (13:24):
And I want to say that those 500,000 people, it’s not a number. It’s an individual that Jesus knows by name that he cares for and he is so, he’s rejoicing for every soul that comes to him. So it’s not this number, but it’s individuals that are going to be in heaven rejoicing with Jesus together. And we’re going to see them there. Though we may never see them again after the gospel crusade, we’re going to see them one day in heaven with Jesus.

Evangelist Daniel King (13:50):
Amen. And I believe that God will continue to give you great harvest. You’ll get your million and then millions more after that in Jesus’ name. And so I’m so excited about what God is doing through your ministry. If you’re listening and you want to help to support the ministry of Romaneche, you can go to his website, Roman, R-O-M-A-N, Nechay, N-E-C-H-A-Y.com and visit his website and you can find out how to be part of the Mauritius outreach, how to be part of the other outreaches that he has upcoming and support his ministry, be a part of what he’s doing to reach people for Jesus. And Roman, thank you so much for being on the evangelism podcast.

Evangelist Roman Nechay (14:35):
It’s a pleasure. Thank you, Daniel.

Evangelist Daniel King (14:37):
Let’s finish with a prayer for all of our evangelist friends that they will be able to avoid burnout and get the rest that they need. Would you go ahead and pray for

Evangelist Roman Nechay (14:48):
Them? Father God, thank you so much for every evangelist and minister and even believer listening to this podcast. Father God, I bless every one of them that they will not burn out, but they will burn for Jesus with fire, with the Holy Spirit passion. Father God, I ask that these evangelists and ministers will lead many people to Christ, but also do it with a good attitude full of joy, full of peace, full of rest, and they will change lives forever through the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord, for every person because they’re so precious to you. Thank you, Jesus, for this opportunity to minister to them. Amen.

Evangelist Daniel King (15:26):
Amen. All

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (00:00):
Welcome to the Evangelism Podcast. I’m Daniel King. I’m excited about telling people about Jesus. And today I have a very special guest with me. Victoria Osborne. Thank you for being on the Evangelism Podcast.

Victoria Osborne (00:12):
I’m so excited to be here. Thank you for asking me.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (00:14):
Now we are here together in the nation of Thailand, and you have brought a group here

(00:22):
The next Gen Ministry of Empowered 21. So we have just completed a really amazing outreach in the city of PAO at the University of Pao, and it was really amazing.

(00:37):
Give us a brief recap. What did you see God do there?

Victoria Osborne (00:40):
Yeah, in Payao, it was really incredible because we were on a university campus and the university students that came our crowd was 86% non-Christian, which I mean as an evangelist, that’s such a beautiful opportunity to have such a large crowd not know Christ and get to share the gospel with them. Probably for the first time, many heard it for the first time and we had this really incredible night market set up for the students and some great gospel artists and some artists and musicians that came to help share about Jesus and their dance and in their music. And then we got to preach clear gospel messages to them and it was really beautiful to get to see so many respond to the message of Jesus Christ.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (01:25):
And so you got to preach, and it was really interesting because the students are a little shy.

(01:32):
All wanted to sit at the back

(01:34):
It was really tough to get them to come forward to the front area. But there were hundreds and even thousands, probably about 3000 students.

(01:44):
Many of them are far back there. So what was it like to try to preach to Buddhist students that are saying way back in the dark, you can’t even see ’em?

Victoria Osborne (01:53):
I know it was quite interesting because the whole front section, nobody would sit there. And so you’re preaching and all you can see is all these empty seats, but then way in the back there’s thousands of students that are sitting and listening to your message. And so you really do have to lock eyes with them way in the back and just know they’re hearing and they’re receiving. And then the moment where you get to give an opportunity for them to respond, that’s where you’re like, okay, did they actually receive what I was saying? Were they listening? Could they hear? But then seeing them stand up even way in the back and respond to the gospel was so beautiful to me.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (02:32):
Now you and I first met at the Christ for All Nations Evangelism Bootcamp we did led by Daniel Kalinda, the Ministry of Reinhard Bonky. And I was one of the instructors for the course. And you were one of the students. I had the privilege of teaching you and many of the other students. And so what were some of the things you learned

Victoria Osborne (02:54):
From

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (02:54):
The Evangelism Bootcamp that have helped you in ministry now?

Victoria Osborne (02:57):
Yeah, I learned so much the Evangelism Bootcamp about how to share a clear gospel message, how to give an altar call, how to preach to a crusade, how to preach one-on-one. I don’t think I ever told you this about your teaching specifically, though you did healing one of the days and my knee got healed in your session trying to teach us on how to pray for the sick.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (03:18):
Praise the Lord. It’s amazing. Jesus even heals people when you’re teaching people how to flow in healing.

Victoria Osborne (03:24):
Yeah, because COVID had just started and so everything was kind of shut down and I had started running a lot and I had hurt my knee running. I tore my hamstring behind my knee and I could barely walk. It was so painful. And during your session, my knee got totally healed and I left your session and I went and ran three miles.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (03:40):
Wow, isn’t that

Victoria Osborne (03:41):
Cool?

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (03:41):
That’s a great testimony. Praise the Lord.

Victoria Osborne (03:43):
Yeah, I totally forgot about that. But I mean there’s so much how to pray for the sick and that’s really been used as a catalyst in my life onto the mission field to get to do what I’m doing. Now,

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (03:53):
Let’s talk about how this tour came about. You and I were together at an Empowered 21 meeting. It might’ve been here in Thailand last February. We had a big meeting for pastors and you were talking about wanting to bring next gen leaders here

Victoria Osborne (04:13):
To

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (04:13):
Minister.

Victoria Osborne (04:15):
And

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (04:15):
So you kind of volunteered, stepped up to be a part of that.

Victoria Osborne (04:19):
And

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (04:19):
Now you’ve done, this is now your second time traveling around Thailand. And so talk to me a little bit about the importance of giving NextGen an opportunity to minister.

Victoria Osborne (04:33):
When I was looking at the nation of Thailand, which is only 1% Christian, and looking at all the young people, I had looked into some statistics and 80% of Christians worldwide will give their life to Jesus before age 18. And so that really stuck with me. And I just had this function that if we can actually reach the next generation in Thailand now we can change the statistics of this nation through them. And I really feel like they’re a real key to what God’s wanting to do in these Asian countries that so far have not been super open to the gospel. And so when I saw that in Power 21 was coming to Thailand and this unreached people group had an opportunity to raise up the next generation, not just share the gospel with them, but really see them discipled and to be the ones that are then carrying the gospel in their schools and in their workplaces and in their universities, I just felt like we couldn’t miss this opportunity.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (05:32):
And so on this tour, we’re doing three youth unlimited events. And so we had one and then we have two more that are still coming. And you brought a team of three girls from Mexico, another young man from Tennessee. I brought one of my interns from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jace Guston. And then we also have a band that came from Malaysia.

(05:57):
We have a group called his pop that comes from Korea and from Thailand and then some other groups, some other musicians from Thailand and from other places. And so it’s really an international gathering of artists. And we’re working with my friend Mano, and he does international gospel music festivals, IGMF. And he’s been doing this in different parts of Thailand. And it’s really interesting ministering here in Thailand because since there’s so few Christians, you have to find a way to get Buddhist people to come and hear the gospel. If you just announced that you’re doing a big Christian event, they have no reason to come because they’re not Christian. And so somehow you have to get them because you don’t want to preach only to the Christians. You want to preach the gospel to people who need the gospel. And so kind of the tactic that seems to work here is to use music as a way of attracting people. And then we had food and music and bouncy houses and dance and lights and sound. And of course young people are attracted to that.

(07:12):
But then to have the opportunity to present a clear gospel message to them and some respond. The night that you preached, I think there were a total of about 32 people that came forward now hundreds raised their hands.

Victoria Osborne (07:29):
Yeah, that’s one thing that’s really interesting about the Thai culture too, is getting them, they’ll raise their hands to respond, but trying to get them to come forward in this culture is not very easy

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (07:40):
Because it’s a big step. Their families are Buddhist. And to even say that you’re interested maybe in becoming a Christian requires a great step of faith. But little bit by little bit, the kingdom of God is growing here. And what’s really neat is that the churches of Thailand right now, as you mentioned, one or 2% is Christian, but the churches of Thailand, they have a vision that 10% of Thailand would become Christian.

(08:11):
Amazing. And they call it Thailand, ten, ten, ten.

Victoria Osborne (08:15):
1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (08:16):
Yeah. Thailand 1, 1, 1. And their goal is that over the next decade that they would see 10% of the nation come to Christ, which I think is amazing faith like God has given the churches of Thailand great faith to believe God for something that is really an amazing ask. Right now, one or 2%, and to go from the percentage of Christians now to 10%, this is a nation of 70 million people that would represent 7 million people coming to Jesus.

Victoria Osborne (08:53):
Which would be incredible.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (08:54):
It would be incredible. Alright, let’s talk a little bit about your ministry. The name of your ministry is Breathe Life.

Victoria Osborne (09:03):
Yes.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (09:03):
And so there’s a story behind that. Tell me about it.

Victoria Osborne (09:06):
There is, yes. So I actually used to be a nurse, and when I was working as a nurse, I had gone to the Dominican Republic to start a hospital ministry. And I was there for three months. And at the end of the three months, I was in the hospital one day where I just heard all this commotion going on outside and I was like, I should probably go see what’s going on. And I walked out there and this nurse just comes running around the corner and I looked down and her hands and she’s carrying a dead lifeless baby girl. And so I look at the baby and I tell her, lay her down, let me listen for a heartbeat. And I start listening for a heartbeat. There’s no heartbeat. I’m like, let me just listen one more time. I go to listen again, there’s no heartbeat.

(09:42):
And I go to move her neck back to open her airway and it’s all stiff, which Ray Morgan starts setting in around two hours. And so she had been dead at least two hours for her neck muscles to start to be stiff. And so in that moment, I just stopped what I was doing, the room’s full of people waiting for me to do something. And I just said, God, there’s nothing I can do. This baby’s dead. And the Holy Spirit said to me, I know you can’t, but I can. And immediately she came back to life. And I realized when that happened, that in my hands, I witnessed death to life. That’s the same thing that happens to us when we’re born again. We are dead in our trespasses and in our sin. And the moment we are born again, the breath of the Holy Spirit comes into us and brings us back to life. And so the Holy Spirit spoke to me again right after that. And he said, Victoria, I’ve come to breathe life into what is dead. And he took me to Ezekiel, Ezekiel prophesying to the dry bones and prophesying again the breath of God to enter into them in an army, rising the army and Israel rising. And I just thought that it was a call to preach the gospel and to see the army of God arise, both the lost and the church. And I believe God’s come to breathe his spirit across all of it.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (11:03):
Amen. And God’s opened up the door for you to minister in a bunch of different places. You’re starting to speak at conferences, churches are bringing you in to speak, you are speaking to young women, to young men, just challenging them to give their all for Jesus, breathing life everywhere you go. So talk to me a little bit about the vision that God has put in your heart. What do you see God doing in the years to come

Victoria Osborne (11:31):
Through

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (11:31):
Your ministry?

Victoria Osborne (11:33):
Yeah. I would say four things. Our mission statement is reap. So reach the lost, equip believers, awaken hearts and propel people into the harvest fields. And so I really believe that right now the Lord is breathing into evangelism and into equipping the body of Christ and to really see the soldiers in God’s army not live as civilians, but live as soldiers and take their place on the battlefield that we’re in right now. We’re in a war for souls and the Lord is calling his soldiers to have a part to play in this battle that we’re in. And so in the future, that’s really what I am passionate about seeing is seeing people reached and the church really be able to feel equipped and ready to be a part of what God’s doing.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (12:17):
Share with me some testimonies of what you’ve seen God do as you’ve been administering in different parts of the world.

Victoria Osborne (12:23):
Yeah. Just a couple months ago, we did a School of Evangelism in Mexico and to Luca, and it was really incredible. One of my favorite things actually that I saw in to Luca is I brought a team of 10 people with me to help me with the school of evangelism. And we had two kids with us that were seven and nine, and we had equipped everybody to pray for the sick and to preach the gospel. And so every day we would go out and do outreaches. And some of my favorite testimonies, Daniel, were of the kids going up to people on the streets of Toluca and praying for healing and seeing the people healed and then those people giving their life to Jesus because they witnessed a miracle. And it just goes to show there’s really no junior Holy Spirit. Anybody can share the gospel and anybody can pray for the sick. The Lord’s just looking for willing vessels, but we have some really cool testimonies from the kids specifically.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (13:17):
Amen. That’s awesome. Well, if someone wants to find out more information about your ministry or wants to support you with all the amazing projects that you’re doing, how can they find out more information about

Victoria Osborne (13:29):
You? Yeah, our website is breathe life international.org. And then we also have Instagram, Facebook. You can find us pretty much anywhere.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (13:38):
Awesome. And we are here in Thailand, and over the course of the next few months, there are going to be massive outreaches

(13:53):
The Global Evangelist Alliance under Empower 21, we launched everyone Thailand. The goal is to share the gospel with every person here in the nation in Thailand. And that’s being done through media, through visiting schools. We minister at kindergarten this morning, we did the kindergarten. Kids were so excited to sing songs with us about Jesus and then doing massive gospel crusades. And so if you’re listening, I’d really ask you to pray for the nation of Thailand, especially as all this ministry kicks off. And we’re going to be going from city to city. There’s going to be over 25 events, I think it was maybe 25, 27, it might be up to 30 events that we’re doing

Victoria Osborne (14:45):
In

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (14:45):
Different cities, different locations around Thailand. Just last week in Chang Mai, Daniel Kalinda and Mattias Vander Stein, they did a great gospel crusade there and really kicked it off and people got saved. And in January, I’m going to be doing an event in the city of Piston Low,

(15:07):
Is right in the middle of Thailand. It’s a real strategic place, and so we’ll be doing a big crusade there, and we’re excited about that. But I’d like to ask you to pray for the nation of Thailand, pray for people to be saved, pray that God would enable us to reach everyone in Thailand

(15:25):
With a clear gospel message. So let’s just finish up today with prayer for this beautiful nation, the beautiful people of Thailand, Victoria, would you pray that God would touch the young people and bring many people to Jesus

Victoria Osborne (15:40):
Here in Thailand? Yeah. Lord, we thank you for the nation of Thailand as you inheritance God. And we just ask that the Gospel would go forth into this nation with power, with boldness, with authority, that hearts would be awakened to the name of Jesus Christ, who can save them from their sins and set them free from the power of sin and darkness and their life. Lord, we thank you for your hand upon this next generation in Thailand, that this next generation will follow Jesus and that they would raise up a mighty army of warriors for the gospel of Jesus Christ. We thank you, Lord, that there is no junior Holy Spirit and that you are pouring out your spirit on the next generation right now, Lord, we just plead the blood of Jesus over them, Lord, and we’re asking for many souls to come into the kingdom of God that there would be an urgency when people preach the gospel and that the Holy Spirit would pull people into the kingdom of God in a way that only he can. Lord, we thank you for your love for this nation and for every gospel event that’s going to be taking place here over the next few months, Lord, that your word will not return void, but that there would be a mighty harvest here in Thailand. In Jesus’ name,

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (16:50):
Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. One more question for you, Victoria. What would you say to a young person who wants to be used by God?

Victoria Osborne (17:00):
I would say God can take the smallest, simplest yes and use it for the biggest things in his kingdom. The only thing he’s looking for is you to take that one step of obedience that He’s asking from you right now in this moment. And as you do, the Lord will show you the next step.

Evangelism Podcast Host Daniel King (17:17):
That’s awesome. Victoria, thank you for being on the Evangelism Podcast.

Victoria Osborne (17:20):
Oh, thank you so much for having me, Daniel.

Notes:

This interview with Evangelist Daniel Kolenda of Christ for All Nations (CFAN) covers several key topics:

  • CFAN has just surpassed 100 million documented decisions for Christ since its founding in 1974, averaging 2 million salvations per year. Kolenda believes this is just the beginning of an even greater harvest in the coming decades.
  • Kolenda discusses CFAN’s strategy of training and empowering thousands of evangelists around the world to multiply their impact. This includes initiatives like the CFAN Evangelism Bootcamp and the new Christ Royal Nation School of Ministry.
  • Kolenda has recently written a new book called “Furious” which provides a fresh, narrative-driven exploration of the Book of Galatians and the gospel message. The book aims to transform readers’ understanding of the power of the gospel.
  • Looking ahead, CFAN is focused on expanding their crusade efforts to new regions and continuing to raise up the next generation of evangelists to participate in the “decade of double harvest” that Kolenda believes the ministry is entering.

Evangelist Daniel King (00:00):
Daniel Kolinda is the successor to Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke and he leads Christ for All Nations. Their ministry has now recorded over 100 million documented decisions for Jesus Christ. Today on the Evangelism podcast, we talk about Daniel Coda’s new book titled Furious. It’s about Paul’s epistle to the Galatians. This book contains a powerful revelation of the gospel that has the power to revolutionize your life. Jesus said,

Evangelism Podcast Host (00:43):
Welcome to the Evangelism Podcast with Dr. Daniel King, where Daniel interviews full-time evangelists, pastors, missionaries and normal everyday Christians to discover how they share their faith, their powerful testimonies and amazing stories that will inspire you to reach people with the good news. And now here’s your host, missionary, and evangelist

Evangelist Daniel King (01:05):
Daniel King. Welcome to the Evangelism Podcast. I’m Daniel King and I’m excited about telling people about Jesus. Today I have a very special guest with me, Daniel Kolinda from Christ for All Nations. Thank you for being on the Evangelism Podcast.

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (01:20):
Thank you. From one Daniel to another. It’s great to be with you today.

Evangelist Daniel King (01:24):
Well, you are a wonderful friend and it is so exciting to see what Christ for All Nations is doing around the world. And C Fan just recently passed a major milestone. Tell me about that.

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (01:40):
Yeah, I’d love to. First, I just want to say to you, Daniel, thank you for the work that you do as well because we’re both evangelists and we share a heart for the nations, and you’ve been going for many years preaching the gospel around the world. And I’m really thankful for what God has done through your ministry. You’ve actually helped us here in training of evangelists. You’ve been one of the trainers that’s come into our bootcamp and helped impart to the next generation. So thank you for that and love and appreciate you very much. Yeah, our ministry, Christ for All Nations, founded by the late Evangelist Bonnke back in 1974. So we are now a 50-year-old ministry. We just passed the 50th birthday and we also just surpassed as of a couple of weeks ago, the landmark of 100 million documented salvations since the founding of the ministry. So that averages out to 2 million people a year coming to Christ, which is something that I’ve never heard of it before. It’s not, I don’t take any credit for it. It was very much a team effort and of course Evangelist Bonky for many, many years before I even came along. But we are celebrating and so thankful for what God has done. We’re really living in the greatest harvest of all time.

Evangelist Daniel King (02:58):
It really is an amazing milestone. When Reinhard Bonnke passed away, I remember that there was an average of about 1 million people who had given their lives to Jesus every year of his life. And then you have continued the Harvest. CFAN as not slowed down or slacked off ever since. Reinhard went on to heaven. CFAN has been aggressively going after souls. You haven’t lost the purpose. So tell me a little bit about what that was like going from being under Reinhardt’s leadership to now you leading Christ for All nations.

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (03:35):
Yeah. Evangelist Bonnke passed away in 2019. He was 79 years old and at that time we had seen 79 million documented decisions for Christ. So you can kind of do the math and see how it’s increased, but actually I became the president of the ministry 10 years before he died. And so I was very firmly in the captain’s chair, but Evangelist Bonnke and I worked together very closely over those 10 years. And he was more than just a mentor to me or a good example. He was really like a father in many ways. And when he passed away, it felt like losing a father. It had that kind of impact on me. I don’t know that I can say that I’ve even now fully processed the difficulty of that loss, but because of his incredible wisdom in the way that he structured transition, and he chose me for successor long before he passed and worked with me to see that transition happen very smoothly in terms of the ministry impact we have not ceased after he passed away or slowed down.

(04:45):
In fact, we have increased. And the Lord began to speak to me in 2017 about the upcoming decade that we’re living in right now. And the Lord told me it would be a decade of double harvest. And the reason that it would be that way was because we would not just be adding, we would be multiplying. And so we really began to put emphasis and intention into investing into the next generation and multiplying laborers and evangelists for the sake of the harvest. And at this moment, there are over 5,000 evangelists that have been trained through Christ for All nations. They are literally spread out all over the world and they’re working very much together with each other and with us to see exponential impact all over the world, which is why we’ve seen these numbers just continue to skyrocket. And I believe that actually we’ve only touched to the very, very beginning of this, just the tip of the iceberg.

(05:37):
I believe that we’ll see by the end of this decade we’ll see 150 million salvations. And then I believe that’s just again the priming for an even greater harvest. Because imagine with these thousands of evangelists now spread out all over the world with their own ministries and their own influence, and God is blessing them and using them. I we’re in for the following decade to be a billion soul harvest decade. And I don’t say that just as wishful thinking or grand faithful talking. I mean based on the numbers that we’re seeing on the ground and the fruit that’s already coming in, if we just project forward, it looks like we’re in for an even greater season of harvest yet to come.

Evangelist Daniel King (06:16):
This is one of the greatest harvest of souls in history. And heaven will record what is happening during this decade of time. The decade of Double Harvest. Heaven will celebrate the millions of people that are coming into a relationship with God. I’ve had the privilege of teaching many of the C fan evangelists with the Evangelism Bootcamp, and it was such a tremendous privilege to be able to pour into them and to be a part of that, to come down to your headquarters there in Orlando. And just recently I have been with some of the CFAN evangelists in different parts of the world, and it’s absolutely amazing to see what God is doing through them. Just a couple months ago I was in Finland and there’s a group of evangelists there that went through the Evangelism bootcamp that now are doing crusades and outreaches in Finland.

(07:21):
And it’s not just first generation, it’s second and third generation evangelists that have gone through the CFAN training system. And then just last week I was in Thailand with evangelist Daniel Es. We were doing a Jesus camp together and we had 176 evangelists come from 15 different provinces across Thailand to be trained. And we took them out to do outreaches. And in the outreaches we did, we had 607 people give their lives to Jesus. And then some of those that have been trained just this week I got a report, they have been doing youth events and over 9,000 young people have given their lives to Jesus, God. And this is all a fruit of what CFAN is doing to train these evangelists. Talk to me a little bit about this strategy of going beyond being just one evangelist on the platform to training many evangelists.

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (08:24):
Well, I really do believe in the principle of impartation. When you look at the story for example of Elijah and Elijah or Moses and Joshua or Jesus and the disciples, which would be the greatest example, you see this emphasis on not simply doing the work of the ministry but passing it on. And in fact, Jesus, what’s interesting with the ministry of Jesus, the very first thing that you read about in the gospels that he does as he launches his public ministry, as he chooses 12 disciples, these are the ones that will on after he’s gone. Now, I mean in our time, usually succession plans are saved for the deathbed. A preacher or a minister or a leader doesn’t think about who’s going to take on the ministry after they’re gone until they’re dying. But with Jesus, that was the very first thing that he did.

(09:11):
He chose the ones that would carry on because he understood that this would be, I mean, think about it. If Jesus hadn’t picked 12 disciples, we probably wouldn’t know who Jesus was because who would’ve written the gospels, who would’ve taken the witness of what they saw to the nations of the world? And so I really felt coming in to Christ for All Nations. I was 28 years old when I became the leader of the ministry. Evangelist Bonnke was still very much around, but I felt myself often asking the Lord, why me? Why did you pick me for this? I’m not a great preacher like Evangelist Bonnke. If you knew Reinhard, he was just a very, very special man. And I never felt like I was in his league in any way, and I still don’t. But I felt like what the Lord told me my assignment would be was not simply to carry on the ministry, although I am doing that and I continue to preach in the Crusades and carry the baton that he passed to me.

(10:04):
But also I felt like the Lord said that my job was to utilize that platform that had been built by Evangelist Bonnke and so many others to launch not only my own ministry but a whole generation of others to give it away. It’s the parable of the feeding of the 4,000 or the 5,000 where Jesus takes these pieces of bread and fish and he puts them in the hands of the disciples and he tells them to give them away. And you might think you can imagine those disciples, they’re all hungry. There’s thousands of people there, and they’ve got just a few crumbs of bread and a little piece of a fish in their hand and they’re thinking themselves, this isn’t enough for me. How is this going to be enough for the multitudes? But they found this amazing secret that as they gave away what they had been given, it began to grow and they actually never ran out and actually had baskets full of food left over at the end. And I think this is a spiritual principle. It says that when Jesus took that bread, it says he blessed it and then he broke it. And I think that God only blesses what he breaks and when he breaks, it’s for the sake of multiplication and distribution. As we give away what we have, he gives us more. And that’s been my experience and the experience of the ministry. And I think that the best years of our ministry and of our lives are ahead of us still because of this incredible thing of multiplication.

Evangelist Daniel King (11:28):
Now, if someone’s listening and they feel a calling to evangelism, what are some ways that they can get trained? I know you’re launching a brand new school of ministry. Are there still opportunities for people to get trained through that? And what are some of the other things that CFAN is offering?

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (11:47):
Yeah, of course the Christ for All Nations School of Ministry is an incredible opportunity to be raised up and trained. We still have the bootcamp, it’s not running right now, but if you come to the School of Ministry, you’ll be in the line for the bootcamp as well. Also, we have schools of fire. We have the fire camps. Jesus Camps is a derivative of the fire camps, as you know, which is like a one week long intensive where you get linked with the Christ for All Nation’s family. We call it the Evangelism Alliance, which has thousands of evangelists linked together, working together. And really what we do, we have different levels of training. Some are very in depth, some are customized for people that want to do gospel crusades like Chan is known for. We have a training called One-to-One, which is designed just to help people share the gospel with their neighbor and their friends in a one-on-one way.

(12:37):
It’s a one day training. So we’ve got all these different levels. But I found that the great thing is that I remember early when I first started doing evangelism and I was trying to do gospel crusades, I saw what Evangel Bonnke was doing. This was before I was working with him. And I looked at these super massive gospel crusades and I thought to myself, how do you even get started doing something like that? It just seems overwhelming, it seems impossible. Where would you begin? And I found that by just giving people the tools and the resources to be able to begin, then that ability to take the first step results in God just blessing the steps and providing more. Like Evangelist Bonnke said, even God can’t steer a parked car. So on some level, you’ve got to be able to get busy and take the first step.

(13:26):
And we have been able to do that very effectively for many of these evangelists. And now some of the guys that we’ve trained, as you said, they are quickly becoming and sometimes already are in different places of the world, the leaders of evangelism in their respective regions and countries. And like you just said, everywhere we go in the world, we see them and God is raising them up and using them. I think that in many ways, they have themselves become heirs of the legacy and the heritage that God has entrusted us here with at Christ for all nations. They’ve become carriers of that same torch and that same fire, and it just goes on and on. And it will outlive both of us, Daniel and I believe it will continue until Jesus comes.

Evangelist Daniel King (14:08):
Amen. Not only are you leading Christ for All Nations, but you’re also pastoring nation’s church, which is a local expression of the Global Sea fan vision in the Orlando area. And you’re also writing books, and you’ve just recently written a brand new book called Furious. Tell me a little bit about this new book that you’ve just about to come out.

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (14:35):
Well, that’s a perfect segue, Daniel, because the evangelistic ministry and the pastoral ministry kind of come together at this point because as evangelists, we love the gospel as every believer should. But for us, it is where we live. We live in the revelation of the gospel and in the preaching of the gospel. And as a pastor, I don’t preach as evangelistically in my church Sunday after Sunday, as you can imagine, but I still always find a way to slip the gospel in there no matter what we’re doing. And that was especially easy recently when I decided to do an expository series preaching verse by verse through the Book of Galatians. Now, the book of Galatians is one of the most fascinating books in the entire Bible. It was written by the apostle Paul. It is a fiery book. It is a raw book. It is a book that seeds with emotion and passion.

(15:30):
And Paul is fighting for the gospel against these people call the Judaizers that are trying to convince new believers, gentile believers in Galatia to go back under the law of Moses. And he’s refuting their doctrine and debating with them. And there’s just a lot of interesting backstory and there’s a lot of context to Galatians that’s very important for somebody to grasp it. If you don’t grasp it, you might read Galatians and not even really understand what’s going on. I was enjoying preaching expositorily verse by verse through Galatians in my church every week people were coming up to me and just telling me how much it was transforming them and changing them and opening their eyes, and people asked me to write something. So when I got to the end of the series, I thought, I’ll just take my sermon notes and I’ll put ’em together in sort of a casual commentary, nothing scholarly, but just to help people guide them through the book of Galatians.

(16:24):
And as I was working on it, I just felt frustrated and I didn’t really grasp why do I feel this way? And then it occurred to me just expository book, like a commentary going through Galatians, doesn’t do it justice. It’s so much more dynamic than that. And I began to think about how can I really help somebody to understand at a very deep level what’s happening in the book of Galatians? And then suddenly I felt like the Holy Spirit just touched me. I really do believe the idea came from the Lord. And I suddenly saw it was a vision of this scene where the Apostle Paul is sitting in a room and he’s dictating the book of Galatians to a scribe. Because if you know how Paul wrote his letters, he very often utilized a scribe. He would dictate, the scribe would write down what he was saying, and I imagined what would it be like if you could sit in that room where Paul is dictating the book of Galatians and hear this conversation unfold between him and his scribe and have Paul himself telling the backstories in dramatic flare and in really engaging fashion, what would it be like if you could absorb not just what he was saying but why he was saying it, and the logic behind his words and the heartbeat that drove him to write the book of Galatians?

(17:42):
And so that’s where I started, and I just began writing this book not really knowing if I could even finish it or if it would have the continuity needed to bring it out. And as I was writing, I just felt like the Holy Spirit kept helping me page by page, chapter by chapter. And what we ended up here with is something that is really unique. I’ve never read another book like it. When you read the book, you will literally go through the entire book of Galatians verse by verse, because Paul’s dictating it throughout the course of the book, but you don’t feel like you’re reading the Bible. You feel like you’re reading a novel. It’s a story, and it’s exciting and it’s colorful, and you will naturally absorb all of these things, the logic and the context of the book of Galatians. And by the end, I think you’ll have a deep revelation, not only of what Galatians itself is saying, but the gospel understanding the gospel and the importance of the gospel on a totally new level. I think it will be very transformative to people who read it.

Evangelist Daniel King (18:38):
So bring it forward for us from the Galatians who read this letter over 2000 years ago to today. What do Christians today need to understand about the gospel that you can find in the Book of Galatians?

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (18:55):
Well, there’s so many things, and the reason that the Galatians still speaks to us so much today is because it touches on, there was a very specific issue in the Galatian church, but the underlying layer to that is something that it is characteristic of all human nature, and it is this desire and this attempt to constantly take the wheel. It’s kind of like, well, Jesus saved me by grace through faith. There’s nothing I could do to earn it. But then there’s this temptation to grab the wheel and say, okay, Lord, now I can take it from here. And we may not think of it that way consciously. We wouldn’t express it that way with our words. But at the same time, there’s this tendency to feel like, well, I’ve got to add something. I’ve got to do something. If I can just be a little bit better, then God will love me a little bit more.

(19:46):
If I can just pray more, if I just read my Bible more, if I just live a holier life, then God is going to really accept me, then I’m really going to be part of his family. And again, for the Galatians, they were being tempted to supplement the work of the cross by going back to the law of Moses. Now, that’s not the biggest issue now, although I don’t know if you know this Daniel, but there is a big movement right now where people are being drawn back into. Some of ’em will call it like Hebrew roots theology. There’s different names for it. I’m not talking about Messianic Jewish believers. That’s a different thing. But this is people who are trying to persuade even today gentile believers in Jesus that if they really want to be pleasing to God, what they have to do is observe the law of Moses.

(20:31):
And you see people returning to the feasts and the fasts. And I’ve even seen people go so far as they stopped wearing clothes with mixed fabrics in them. I had one friend that I heard that he was getting into some of this Hebrew roots stuff, and he was, again, is a gentile believer. And then we pulled up to his house one day and he came out, and I was shocked when I saw him come out of the house and he was wearing a black coat and a black top hat, and he’d grown his beard out and the sides of his side burns were curled, and he was dressed like an Orthodox Jew because he literally believed that God wanted him to fulfill the law of Moses in order to be more pleasing to him. And it’s interesting because Orthodox Judaism didn’t even emerge until hundreds of years after Christ.

(21:17):
So this wasn’t even something that was around in the time of Jesus. And yet you can see how insidious this temptation to slip back into law and into performance and into the work of our own hands is not just for those following Hebrew roots theology, but for every believer. The Book of Galatians, it’s one of those books, Galatians and Romans are what sparked the Protestant reformation in some ways. Many of us, I would say probably the majority of your audience is a product of the Protestant Reformation. But I believe that we need constantly to have a fresh reformation in our own hearts, which is turning away from the work of our hands and our striving and our efforts to please God and putting our focus back on the cross, the finished work of Christ and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Evangelist Daniel King (22:04):
So one side is people going back to the law, and then there’s another movement where people take grace to the extreme and say, we can do anything and say, we’re not subject to any of the laws. We don’t have to obey anything. We can do anything we want and live any way we want, and God will still love us. So how do we as Christians stay holy, but also walk in the knowledge of what God’s grace has done for us?

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (22:39):
Well, this is something that Paul addresses in the Book of Galatians because again, you can imagine that one of the things that the Judaizers were accusing Paul of is being lawless and promoting some sort of a lawless approach to the gospel, maybe to win the approval of people. And Paul addresses this after he lays out very clearly the gospel he gets into in chapters three and four, and especially near the end of the book, he really begins to focus on how do we live a life that is pleasing to God? So it’s not just that, oh, Jesus died for you now go do whatever you want, just live any way that you want. No, the power of the gospel is that Jesus died so that we could become children of God. And now that we are children of God, the Holy Spirit comes to live and dwell on the inside of us, and the Holy Spirit changes us from the inside so that we, by our new natures in Christ naturally live lives that are pleasing to God, and we naturally bear the fruit of the Spirit. By the way, you know that whole passage on the fruit of the spirit, love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, long suffering, yet all these things that comes from the book of Galatians where Paul is describing to these Gentiles, how you can actually live a life that is pleasing to God, and you cannot do that. This is the crux of the matter. You cannot do this apart from the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Evangelist Daniel King (24:04):
It sounds like this book really makes the Bible come alive in a very real way. And so I hope that everyone who’s listening will get a copy of it. How can they order a copy of your new book Furious?

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (24:19):
Well, it’s available everywhere where you buy books. If you get ’em on Amazon or I don’t know what’s out these days, Barnes and Noble, but we also have it available on our ministry website. You can go to CA n.org that stands for Christ for All Nations CA n.org, and you can find it there as well and anywhere else that you buy your books.

Evangelist Daniel King (24:42):
And I’d really encourage you, if you’re listening to go to the CAN website, CA n.org, and on there you can find out about all the opportunities to be trained in evangelism. And if you want to help support an evangelistic ministry that is making a difference around the world and has an amazing track record of over a hundred million souls, I’d really encourage you to become a supporter of C Fan and help them on a monthly basis, give them a gift to help them with one of their crusades. It will be a huge blessing.

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (25:19):
Thank you, Daniel.

Evangelist Daniel King (25:21):
Yeah. Well, tell us kind of what comes next for CA. What are some of the big plans that you guys have coming up?

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (25:30):
Well, again, our big focus the next five years, we we’re doing crusades all over the world, expanding territory into new regions, and really focusing on training up new evangelists. And that really is the heart of the ministry and the vision that God has given us. I believe that we’ll see over the next five years, over a million Africans become part of the Evangelism Alliance. We have a strategy for this, and I’m just looking forward to the greatest season of harvest that we’ve ever seen coming up just ahead.

Evangelist Daniel King (26:02):
Amen. Well, Daniel, thank you so much for being on the Evangelism Podcast. I appreciate it.

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda (26:08):
Thanks, Daniel. God bless you.

Eliot Morgan | A Light in the Darkness

Elliot Morgan recently moved his whole family to Thailand because he wants to train the church to evangelize in the unreached nations of Southeast Asia. His journey to Thailand began about 15 years ago after he read Foxes’ Book of Martyrs and felt called to reach the 10/40 window. He has been leading evangelism training camps in Thailand and the surrounding nations, focusing on teaching foundational biblical truths like Jesus as the Light of the world and the preeminence of Christ.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (00:00):
Welcome to the Evangelism Podcast. I’m Daniel King. I’m excited about telling people about Jesus today. I have a very special guest with me, Elliot Morgan. Thank you for being on the Evangelism Podcast.

(00:12):
Thank you, Daniel for having me.

(00:14):
And so you are a graduate of the Christ for All Nations Evangelism Bootcamp, and I was one of the instructors there, and now you’ve been going and blowing and doing big things for Jesus.

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (00:27):
Yeah, yeah. Actually prior to the CFAN Evangelism Bootcamp, believe it or not, I was a pastor for about 10 years. And I like to say it jokingly to my pastor friends that the Lord liberated me and he sent me out to be fully trained as an evangelist. And that’s actually where you and I met for the first time. As you said, you were one of our instructors, which I highly, highly enjoyed your class and your teaching, but it was thereafter it when I began to work with the bootcamp that you would continue to come and I got to have more conversations with you, grab lunch with you, that I really got to hear your heart and know you. So it is an honor for me to be here. Thank you for having me.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (01:06):
Well, we are in the nation of Thailand and God has been speaking to you about Thailand, and tell me the story of how you ended up here and what God is doing.

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (01:16):
Sure. Yeah. I love Thailand. I’m glad to be here with you. We’re currently in Bangkok, but my home is Chiang Mai. It’s in about eight to nine hours north of here, one hour flight. So my journey to Thailand, I would’ve to say without exaggerating, probably began about 15 years ago. I’ve been walking with the Lord, I guess since 2005, and within a year of getting saved, somebody put a book in my hand, the Foxes Book of the Martyrs. And I don’t know if you’ve ever read that, but once you read that book, your life is never the same. When I began to read about people who were paying the ultimate price for the gospel laying down their lives for Jesus, it changed everything about the way I viewed Christianity, the world, and even my own life. And so soon after reading that book, I found out about a ministry called Voice of the Martyrs, which this ministry highlights the families of people that have laid down their lives for Jesus all over the world.

(02:14):
And as I began to read the stories of the martyrs and the persecuted nations of the world, I felt God beginning to tug me in that direction. That started about 15 years ago, and then one day God gave me a vision of the nation of Pakistan, of a great revival that he was going to send to the nation by then evangelist Daniel, I was undone. I was like, Lord, you have me here in this little city in the middle of nowhere pastoring a church, but you’re burdening my heart for these parts of the world. Well, I’ll save you the long story. By the time I ended up going through the Evangelism Bootcamp with CFAN and then coming back to work with them because I believed in the training so much, I wanted to continue to labor with them to raise up more evangelists. It was that time that I was given the invitation to lead what CFAN calls a Fire Camp, which is a one week training for evangelist.

(03:08):
I was able to lead CFAN’s very first Fire Camp in the nation of Thailand in January of 2024. It was during that training that I saw an open vision of the Lord Jesus standing in Southeast Asia, and he held his hand out to me. And it wasn’t a very forceful command, it was a loving invitation. Jesus held his hand out to me and he said, Elliot, would you come here? And that is how I ended up in Thailand because as he showed me the great harvest that is about to take place, not only in Thailand but in the whole of Southeast Asia, and then the Lord began to show me in the future how he would raise up Asian missionaries to send to the Muslim world. How could I deny that invitation? And so that is my journey to getting here. I said yes in January of 2024, and my family arrived in the nation December 28th, 2025, no, sorry, December 28th, 2024. So within the same year we were moved.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (04:07):
Wow. And so you took a step of faith, packed up your whole family. Now you’re living in Shang Mai, and your heart is to train the church in evangelism, but not just here in Thailand. You have a heart for the unreached nations. This is a very strategic place because there’s a lot of nations around. Tell me, what are you hoping that God does in this region of the world?

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (04:34):
Yeah, so early on, the Lord put the entirety of the 10/40 window on my heart. If people are not familiar with that terminology, 10 and 40 are just coordinates on the map, 10 degrees north, 40 degrees north. And in that span of territory or regions of the world, it encompasses all of North Africa, the Middle East, and all of Asia, most of Southeast Asia, I mean all of Southeast Asia for sure. God began to burden my heart for this place because when you look at it statistically, over 96% of the people in the world that have never heard the gospel, they live in the 10 40 window. So as an evangelist, as a person with a heart for the loss, I used to cry out to Jesus. Every nation needs to be saved. Every person deserves to hear the gospel, but Lord, I want to go to the places that no one’s going or that it’s very hard to go. And so I believe that Thailand is strategic because if you look at it on the map, Thailand sits in the middle of restricted

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (05:29):
Nations. Yeah, you’ve got Myanmar, you’ve got Laos, you’ve got China, you’ve got Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, all right here in this one region.

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (05:40):
Exactly. Because even though Thailand is unreached itself, it’s less than a 2% Christian nation. It is not restricted. So you can live in Thailand and freely preach the gospel, make disciples, train missionaries and evangelists, but you have easier access to these restricted nations. And what’s beautiful about what we’re finding is yes, we’re here training Thai evangelists, but we’re also working in Lao in Vietnam and Myanmar, and I know this is a further out of the way, but in Pakistan we have realized that even when times get tough or if it’s a bit too dangerous to get into a particular place, we can bring these leaders, pastors, evangelists to be trained in Chiang Mai or in Thailand in general to be sent back to their nations.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (06:28):
And so when you’re doing evangelism training, what are some of the key truths that you’re sharing?

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (06:36):
That’s a good question. And people would probably think that you dive right into evangelism, but we’ve found that you can’t do that because when we’ve come to Asia, we learned that a lot of people are, they have a real, genuine, authentic fear of Satan, of demons, of the demonic. And there’s no wonder because they’re steeped in centuries of darkness, centuries of deception. And we have found a great need to teach the principle of Jesus the light. And it’s a simple biblical principle that the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. But as simple as that may seem to most people, even in the West, because of our plethora of the availability of Bible studies, resources, programs here, this is a very basic teaching that we’re finding to be quite effective, that we start our evangelism trainings with establishing Jesus is the light of the world and he’s greater than all darkness in the world. And that as the believer, see, Jesus said, I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you will never have to walk in darkness. I will give you the light that leads to life. Then he looks at his disciples and he says, you are the light of the world. And so we teach this in our trainings and we begin to see light bulbs go off in the eyes and we see the people come alive like, wow, I carried the light.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (07:57):
I really love the verse in John chapter one where it says, the light shines in the darkness and the darkness shall not overcome it. It cannot overcome. It cannot. And so when the light starts shining, darkness has to flee.

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (08:11):
I mean, that is a simple truth. That is, it seems to be changing the lives of many people here because what they need to understand is the darkness is never more powerful than the light. You can walk into a completely dark room and light a small match. You could take your cell phone flashlight, the smallest light in a large dark room. The light always overcomes the darkness. Another truth that we teach in the beginning of our trainings is Jesus, the first we start with Jesus, the light, but we move on to Jesus the first. And it’s the truth about the preeminence of Christ. We teach the people that Jesus is above all, because Jesus is before all, because of the demonic oppression and the things that they face here, we want show the believers that you do not have to fear darkness. You do not have to fear the enemy, that because of Christ in you, you overcome the world.

(09:03):
And so it’s with those base teachings where we begin and then we eventually move on into what is an evangelist, the call of the evangelist. What is the gospel of Jesus Christ? Give them a simple understanding of the gospel. Then we go into the practical teachings of how to share the gospel with Buddhists for in a Muslim nation, how to share the gospel with Muslims. And then we teach personal responsibility of evangelism that if you’re going to reach a soul with the gospel, that you have to be willing from the onset from the very beginning to take personal responsibility for that new baby that you born, that you helped birth into the kingdom of God. And so we don’t have it all figured out. Obviously we don’t have all the answers, but what we’re beginning to see is that what God is entrusting to us. It’s working.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (09:50):
That’s so amazing. Well, what is your website? If someone wants to connect with you, support your ministry, how can they find out more about you?

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (09:58):
Yeah, so our ministry is called Lion Face Ministries International, and the website is lion face ministries.com. And if you go there, there’s limited, we post limited things because of the nature of where we work and what we do. We can’t publicize much. But it gives you the vision of the ministry and how you can connect with us. You can subscribe to the email newsletters and if God should move upon anyone’s heart to sow into what we’re doing, there are ways to give listed on the homepage.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (10:25):
That’s awesome. We’re in the nation of Thailand this week, and we’re launching the everyone Thailand vision. And the goal is to reach everyone in Thailand with the gospel of Jesus Christ, that every single person in this nation, they have the right to hear the gospel at least once in their lifetime. And it’s a massive nation. 70 million people, only one or 2% Christian, about 97% Buddhist, but such a beautiful people, such a wonderful people. What do you see God doing here in Thailand, especially among, give me some testimonies from that first fire camp that you helped lead. I saw the pictures of it, and it’s just so beautiful. So many young people that were so excited about evangelism. Share with me some of the testimonies that have come out of that first fire

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (11:18):
Camp. In our evangelism trainings, one strong push, we always teach about the baptism and the Holy Spirit and the baptism of fire because we understand, if you look at the New Testament, when the Holy Spirit came upon people, they became a new person, a different person. The same Peter who denied Jesus Christ three times. When he received the power of the Holy Spirit, he preached boldly in front of 3000. And so with that illustration, we see these Thai people, even the Burmese people were at our training, they come in and quite naturally, they’re quiet people. They’re some timid, some just they’re very honoring culture. So they come and then here we come and we teach them the boldness of the Holy Spirit and the power that the gospel carries. We watch these students come in one way, and then when we train them on how to preach the simple gospel, the perfect life of Jesus, his death, burial on resurrection, and we show them that all of heaven will back the words that they say.

(12:18):
When they preach the truth, we take them into the streets. And these sometimes very small people, timid, quiet, become as bold as lions. Now, the Bible says, the righteous are as bold as lion. And the greatest testimony I can give you is I watch them come in one way. They leave the training another, they go out and they preach the gospel with power, seeing signs, wonders, and miracles, and they’re bold and they’re not afraid of the enemy. And to me, that’s the greatest testimony of what God is doing because he really changes them and he shows them that you can be effective if you’d be willing to go out and be obedient.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (12:55):
Wow. Well, I so admire your faith, especially moving your family here. What has that experience been like for your family?

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (13:04):
Yeah, I would like to say that it was very easy with no problems, but let’s face it, anyone, if you grow up in a particular nation your whole life, and that’s all your culture’s, all your family’s there, you’re comfortable, things are convenient. The Bible gives a call to leave all of those things. And I’ve preached it for years, honestly meaning it in my heart. But it became another thing when we had to live it.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (13:30):
It’s

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (13:31):
Almost like Jesus was saying, you’ve been preaching this. You’ve been provoking others to follow me radically. Now, Elliot, will you do it? So when we did it, I have to say that we learned a lot more about the cost of following Christ. I learned a lot more about faith because I had to leave a lot of things behind and I had to trust Jesus for finances in levels or amounts that I never had to trust in before. But I can tell you now that we’re here, I look back and we’ve lacked nothing. Everything that we needed to happen, the Lord worked it out. I mean, moving to another nation, sometimes we romanticize the ministry, but we forget the very practical things. You’re leaving your home country. You have to get a visa to live in another nation for four people, me, my wife, and my two daughters, and Thailand is one of the hardest places to get a visa, and none of us have the same type of visa.

(14:20):
So we had to figure that out. We moved to a country where we do not speak the language, and we don’t even know the city. We had to find a house, but the Lord provided a home. We had to find an international school for our daughters to attend. The Lord did that. How do you buy a vehicle in another country? How do you learn to drive on the opposite side of the road? Where do you grocery shop? So I’m sharing these things. There are people that may hear this interview that have a call to relocate to another nation, and it’s okay to have those questions, and it’s okay to face the reality that it’s not to be easy, but I want to encourage people that if God is calling you to do it, God really will provide. Now, here we are, we have only arrived a little more than a month ago, but we have a home.

(15:04):
We have all of our visas. When I arrived back in Chang May on Monday, I’m purchasing my first vehicle in another country. All of our needs are taken care of. So I can say we learned faith like never before. We learned to trust Jesus like never before. But we also learned of the great support that the church gives. We have many friends in the states that support what we’re doing. We have many churches that support us, and we’ve really seen the body of Christ rally around us to lift us up. And that now more than ever before in my nearly 20 years of walking with Jesus, more than 15 years of ministry, I’ve learned the importance of community and that you can’t do this alone.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (15:44):
That’s awesome. Well, let’s finish by praying for this entire region of Asia. Let’s agree together that there would be a revival fire that would come and sweep across Southeast Asia.

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (15:58):
Absolutely. Well, heavenly Father, we come to you and we just want to thank you for what you’re doing here, not only in Thailand, but in the entirety of Southeast Asia. Jesus, this is the one thing that we know that when you set your eyes on a people or on a nation, that you will fulfill your purposes. Lord, we’re so grateful that you’re allowing us to be a part of what you’re doing here. Jesus. We know that without unity, without being in one heart, with one mind, in one accord and in one spirit, the work will be difficult. But Jesus, I see that you’re raising up a mighty army to link arms and walk together from the west and from the east, different ministries, different tribes, different tongues, different people are coming together in one heart to see you save this region. Father, we pray in Jesus’ name that you would continue to build unity amongst the brethren and that you would continue to give the Thai people, the Thai pastors and leaders, and those that belong to the body of Christ in this nation, give them boldness, give them favor, provide all that they need as they continue to push forth in this nation.

(17:02):
And Lord, we pray that the revival that breaks forth in this nation will spill over into the nation’s bordering to Thailand, bordering Thailand, and even to the ends of the earth. Lord, we love you and we thank you, and we know that this will be done in Jesus’ name.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (17:16):
Amen.

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (17:17):
Amen.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (17:17):
Thank you for being on the Evangelism podcast.

Evangelist Eliot Morgan (17:19):
Thank you, brother. What an honor.

Evangelism Bootcamp Graduates On the Field

At our crusade in Gandajika in the Democratic Republic of Congo, I had the opportunity to sit down with some of the graduates of the Christ for All Nations Evangelism Bootcamp. They all came to Congo to help with organizing the crusade. Today on the Evangelism Podcast they share about what they have learned as evangelists and about the calling that God has on their lives. You will be inspired by their stories to do great things for God.

Transcript:

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (00:00):
Welcome to the Evangelism Podcast. I’m Daniel King, and I’m excited about telling people about Jesus. Today I am in Ngandajika. Congo DRC, and we have a tremendous team here that has been helping to organize everything. And so I have with me some of the graduates from the Christ for All Nations Evangelism Bootcamp. And so they came to Orlando to be trained and now they are sent out and we are together here in Congo. And so let’s just begin by each of you introducing yourself and telling me who you are and where you’re from. My

Jasper Kim (00:41):
Name is Jasper Kim, and I am from Los Angeles, California.

Anastasiia Dvoinikova (00:47):
My name is Anastasia Awa, and I was born in Russia, but now I live in Orlando, Florida.

Grace Smith (00:53):
My name is Grace Smith. I was born in Zimbabwe and I now live in United Kingdom.

Maxie Smith (01:00):
My name is Maxie Smith. I live in England, but my parents come from Jamaica. I live in London, England.

Jacob Habiye (01:08):
My name is Jacob Habiye. I am from Tanzania. ausa.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (01:14):
Well, let’s start with you Jacob. What did you learn in the Evangelism Bootcamp? How did you end up at the Evangelism Bootcamp? And then what did you learn while you were there?

Jacob Habiye (01:27):
So the bootcamp, I learned about to have a heart for the lost, and I know I did before I preaching in the local church. But from there I just thinking now I’m going international and thinking about the loss. That is what I learning. And then as evangelist to have a personal relationship with God, that is really what are learning and yeah,

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (01:54):
Can say that. So Maxie and Grace, the two of you are married. How many years have you been married Now?

Grace Smith (02:00):
We’ve been married 28

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (02:02):
Years. 28 years. Congratulations. And so how did you end up at the Evangelism Bootcamp?

Grace Smith (02:11):
Okay, I think he gives me the mic. Personally, I’ve been following Reinhard Bonnke’s ministry, Christ for All Nations for years. So I’ve been stalking the ministry and eventually there was a time that they were actually asking if anyone wants to come to the Crusades to sit in the crusade. And we were dreaming of that. So I told Max we were dreaming of that. So one day I saw on the website bootcamp, that was the first bootcamp. So my husband applied for that. He was accepted, applied for the second one. He was accepted. But we didn’t have enough faith to step out financially. But eventually this year’s bootcamp, we went for it and that’s how we ended up there.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (03:01):
And so the two of you are really a power couple. God has called you together. What did you learn while you were at the Evangelism Bootcamp?

Maxie Smith (03:13):
Yes, we learned practical evangelism that could be applied on the road. We’ve been so empowered, impacted to go out and preach the gospel. It’s been so excited. We’ve learned the need to pray and be constantly before God. We’ve learned how to apply ourself and the things that we’ve been learning. We’ve come out to DRC to practically use them. And we’ve seen through the training of bootcamp that we have been able to apply the stuff. And for myself personally, it’s been so life transforming and changing, and I’ve learned so much practical things that I’ve been able to apply and I’ve seen lives so changed and transformed. It’s been awesome.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (04:03):
Anastasia, you came to the Evangelism Bootcamp and you feel called to be an evangelist, and God’s really put the Slavic people on your heart. What were some of the big things that you got out of your time at the Evangelism Bootcamp?

Anastasiia Dvoinikova (04:22):
One of the things, the biggest thing which I get out of the bootcamp, it’s no compromises when you’re preaching the gospel because this is what many people doing when they’re preaching the gospel. Either they’re not mentioning sin or something, but this is a critical in the gospel to mention sin, to mention repentance. And in the Slavic community, it’s often you can see that they’re not preaching about that stuff. And so when you’re growing in your faith, it’s not really mentioning. And in the bootcamp, the big part for me, it was preaching the clear gospel, not only simple gospel, but the clear gospel and the true gospel.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (05:01):
Jasper, it has really been tremendous to be a teacher in each different year that the bootcamp has been running. And so I’ve had the opportunity to come and do several days of training for each bootcamp. Do you remember anything that you learned in my class that really impacted

Jasper Kim (05:23):
You? Oh man, Daniel, you know what I really remember was when you came and you were critiquing all of us, when we were giving our stories, I believe it was a boat story. And you really gave us really practical advice on what we need to do to do things better and what we could add, what we could take out. And these little tips are critical tips that only like an experienced evangelist can really see and identify. So I believe that part of you coming to bootcamp was awesome. Also, just your story and your testimony when you told us about what you do, how long you’ve been doing it, and just seeing someone with such a heart for evangelism, it truly inspires us to see that, to see someone actually living what we aspire to do for the Lord. So I think that was a big thing,

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (06:13):
And God’s brought us together here in Gica one more time. And so it’s just been wonderful to spend time with each of you, and all of you have had a very significant part to play in helping with the outreach here. And so Jasper, one of the things that you were helping with, which was a big hassle here, was generators. Talk to me about the generators and what happened here in Conica trying to get the generator to the crusading.

Jasper Kim (06:43):
I’m going to try and do this in just a little jam packed kind of explanation. But yeah, so the roads out here in DRC are so just treacherous and rugged. It’s probably the most difficult terrain that I personally have seen, and I’ve driven in snow, I’ve driven in mud and all these different terrains. DRC is on another level. So logistics is really a nightmare to move things from one city to another. And yeah, we have big semi-truck that need to get things across. So my personal responsibility was getting power to our sound system, getting power to our lights through these generators. But finding a good generator and being able to transport it across cities has been such a big task. It’s been really difficult, but the Lord’s really been making it possible. We do everything we can on our end, Daniel, but in the end, the Lord is the one that really, really comes through and really pulls miracles

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (07:45):
For us. On Wednesday night, we were in Muji Maya and one of the generators stopped working. Yes. And that’s a horrible tragedy for a crusade because suddenly the people cannot hear. And that’s the whole reason we’re here, is so that people can hear the gospel. Exactly. And so for 25 minutes it wasn’t working, and finally the repairman came and he fixed it and it got working again. But he was supposed to be there all the time. And he’d wandered off. Yes. And he wasn’t supposed to. Exactly. And you talked to him. What did you tell him?

Jasper Kim (08:20):
Oh man, I, I don’t like having to raise my voice unless I don’t have to. But in this moment I had no choice because we literally had no power, no sound for 30 minutes. And that’s probably the worst case scenario when it comes to what we do, mass gospel crusades. So yeah, I had to really tell ’em like, Hey, you cannot leave. You have to stay here. And I had to say it in a kind of a loud tone, so that’s what I had to do.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (08:49):
But it’s worked every night since. It’s worked

Jasper Kim (08:51):
Every night since. And he’s been great and I apologize to the guy. And we’re on great terms now. So

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (08:58):
Here in Ika, there was a need for a generator and you found one that was actually built into a house. And so you had to rent a backhoe, a big shovel truck to actually lift the roof off the house and then lift the generator out of the house and put it on a dump truck to bring to the crusade. Exactly. So it is quite the challenge to have power. So your job is to get power to the sound system. My job as the preacher is to get the power of God to the people. Hallelujah. Come on. But both are needed. We need both kind of

Jasper Kim (09:38):
Power. That’s so

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (09:38):
Amazing. Alright, so I want to ask each of you, what has been your big role that you’ve played here at this crusade?

Anastasiia Dvoinikova (09:47):
So my big role here, overall, I’m interning with the senior director, but in Gada Gica, I’m a crusade photographer.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (09:57):
I gave you my camera. You’ve been running around getting pictures. I told you to take lots of pictures. I think the other night you came back with over 500 pictures and many of them were so good.

Anastasiia Dvoinikova (10:08):
Praise God. Praise

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (10:09):
God. So you just jump in with your talent.

Anastasiia Dvoinikova (10:11):
Yeah, this was happening when you on the crusade, you need to fill the need where it’s the most needed.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (10:19):
Yeah. Now Grace, you have a couple of different roles here. You are one of the scribes that is recording everything that happens. Why is that important? Tell me about what you do there and why it’s important.

Grace Smith (10:35):
Okay. So I have to make sure that I’m there when the service starts, and then I’ll record every moment of what is happening on the stage in from when you come on the stage, the mc. And it’s so important because then it allows everybody to know what is actually happening in. So it’s like a live scribe of what is happening. So anyone who is in the United States can actually know that, okay, we are starting the worship, the the worship team is there. So that’s what I’ve been doing. So it’s been important, but the most important thing is the testimonies as well. So if there’s no picture, if there’s no’s, no story. So I take the picture and then I write literally I have to type as the testimonies are going on. But I think one of the most challenging was trying to get the names because the names are French,

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (11:36):
They’re hard to understand,

Grace Smith (11:37):
They’re very hard to understand, hard to spell hard. The pronunciation I, I’ve done my best to actually make sure that everything is in place up until the evangelist leaves the stage and leaves the field. I think of that time I have to be really focused in what is actually going on on the crusade.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (12:00):
And then you also are in charge of hospitality, and so you have been helping with the meals. You can’t go to the supermarket to buy food. Where do you find the food to feed everyone? Mama Grace.

Grace Smith (12:13):
That has been very challenging. I mean, this hotel that you’re staying in is quite a new hotel. So there’s no kitchen, there’s no food. But we’ve got another hotel that some of the C fund stuff are staying. There’s food there, but you cannot go to a supermarket or a store and buy stuff. So the lady who actually cooks there has to buy things from Ji Mai. So all the transport that goes to Ji Mai comes. So I’ve given her, which

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (12:41):
Is a challenge because Muji Mai is four hours away over very bumpy roads, is very difficult to travel from there to here. So you have to send a shopping list and then they send the food back.

Grace Smith (12:54):
So before the crusade I had to sit down with her. We went through a list of what we need, things like a burger. They don’t eat hamburgers here. They don’t eat chips here. So I had to actually take a picture to mama and show her what chips are,

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (13:10):
What are chips, because we don’t know what those are in the United States either. Fries, french fries. In the United States, we call them french fries.

Grace Smith (13:18):
So in United Kingdom we call them chips. So the fries. So we made a list prior to the crusade and then she had to buy those things in Jamay and bring those things over. Wow. Yeah. Wow.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (13:31):
Brother Maxie, what have you been in charge of here?

Maxie Smith (13:34):
Yes, thank you. Yes, I’ve been in charge with working with committees. I’ve been involved with the prayer committee. People of DRC have a passion for prayer. They pray very powerfully. I’ve been organizing them and having meetings to see how best we can pray for the crusade and pray for the salvation of the people of DRC. It’s been awesome. It’s been challenging at times, gathering people from different churches, but God has been faithful and we’ve been able to gather very powerful prayer team who have prayed throughout the crusade and it’s really been an awesome time.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (14:12):
Brother Jacob, what have you been doing while you’ve been here?

Jacob Habiye (14:16):
Before Crusade, I was helping in promotion. So to put all material

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (14:22):
Posters for How long have you been here in the city

Jacob Habiye (14:24):
For three weeks here, inand

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (14:26):
Chica. Okay. And so you were helping to put up the posters?

Jacob Habiye (14:29):
Yes.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (14:30):
You have done a good job. The wall in front of our hotel, it’s a big wall. Every inch of the wall is covered in a yellow poster. It looks like a billboard. And so you were helping to coordinate the local teams that were

Jacob Habiye (14:47):
Putting out the publicity? Yeah, so the local team, we start with a three by two billboard and then we come with light poles. And then the last week before crusade we put some posters. And so that is before crusade. And during the crusade I’m helping in security and technical.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (15:05):
Wonderful. Yeah. Well, God’s call is upon each one of your lives, and I want to hear a little bit about what you feel that God is calling you to do in the future. You’ve got your training, you’ve come here and you’ve done work on the ground. What do you feel God is calling you to in the future?

Jacob Habiye (15:28):
For me, this is what I feel, and I already start even doing is for youth ministry. That is what God called me to do to evangelize with youth. So I did like for 10 years ago, before even I meet with Han, so I was doing in the local, preaching the schools is what God put in my heart to do. So when I go to the bootcamp, I’m learning also, it is not about going to the maybe pulpit to preach. You can evangelize, you can do evangelism, even one by one, everywhere in the bus, everywhere you can do that is really what I learned before. It’s like, okay, maybe I need to go on the stage to preach, be Avengers. But when I went there, no. So there’s Jesus at the door one by one. And then so for me, everywhere I go, even when I came here, when I saw those youth and kids, and it is really touched my heart is what God’s called for me to really put to help youth to know Jesus,

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (16:36):
Maxie and grace. What do you see God doing in the future in your ministry?

Maxie Smith (16:42):
Yes, we feel called to crusades and we would hope to step out and do some mini crusades. We’re learning all the time, learning how to,

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (16:51):
Where do you want to do crusades? You’re from Great Britain and Jamaica and Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe. So those are three good countries to start in. Do you see yourself doing crusades in those countries?

Maxie Smith (17:05):
Yeah, we would love to go to Zimbabwe to do a crusade and looking at Jamaica also. But the first goal would be to go towards Zimbabwe.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (17:15):
My wife and I, we did a crusade in Jamaica in Montego Bay. One week after our honeymoon. We took a big team with us and we took all the money that people gave us at our reception and we used it to pay for the crusade. That’s amazing. And the team was out to ministering every day. But we were just home from our honeymoon and we mostly stayed in the hotel. We were not interested in going out and ministering. We came out to preach at the crusade, but we pretty much stayed inside the hotel the rest of the time. But I believe God will use you in Jamaica. Jamaica needs a touch from God and Zimbabwe and even Great Britain. When you see what is happening in the news in Great Britain right now, it needs a revival. So many people there are in a post-Christian world, they don’t even consider themselves to be a Christian heritage anymore. And so I believe God will give you an opening in each of those nations and to other nations across Africa and around the world. In Jesus’ name. Anastasia, you speak Russian, you have a heart for the Russian speaking world. Tell me, what has God put on your heart to do in the future?

Anastasiia Dvoinikova (18:43):
So after finishing bootcamp, I’ve really felt to organize not only a massive crusades in the countries where nobody wants to go, like Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Stan, even South Korea, North Korea, in the countries where I don’t hear people doing a crusades or if they had a crusades. It was long time ago, and I don’t hear anything at this point, but I really want to see not just like a cities coming to Jesus, but like a nations, a massive transformation of a whole nations coming to Jesus and just coming to him and finding him again because for the Slavic, we have an inheritance in the Christianity, but the more generation is going, the more people forgetting about it. And I want just to see them coming back to the feet of

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (19:42):
Jesus and to have the fire of the Holy Spirit.

Anastasiia Dvoinikova (19:44):
Amen.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (19:46):
Amen. Jasper, what’s God put on your heart?

Jasper Kim (19:50):
Oh yeah. I believe the Lord has put on my heart just really like Asian nations. I just always felt like a, now

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (20:00):
You’re Asian in

Jasper Kim (20:01):
Heritage

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (20:02):
From South Korea.

Jasper Kim (20:03):
Yeah, my parents are Korean. But

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (20:05):
You grew up in

Jasper Kim (20:06):
Born and raised in America.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (20:08):
America, born

Jasper Kim (20:08):
And raised in America. So

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (20:09):
You’re American by culture, but you look like you’re

Jasper Kim (20:12):
South Korean. My blood is Korean, but I am actually born and raised in California. So

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (20:19):
Yeah. So God’s put Asia on your heart.

Jasper Kim (20:21):
Yeah, God’s put Asia on my heart even I kind of feel even Asia, Africa obviously, because here now, and I’ve been here for the past couple years with C fan kind, I feel like this is a preparation season for me, but also our home nation of America. I know the Lord is going to, there’s going to be a time where the Lord calls me back to our home and really start evangelizing out there because the Lord knows America needs it. Amen. Really bad America needs him right now.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (20:52):
Amen. Especially la, the area you. Exactly. California. They need Jesus.

Jasper Kim (20:58):
Pray for California.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (20:59):
Amen. Amen. Well, let’s finish with a word of prayer. I want to just pray over each one of you a dear heavenly Father, I thank you for these mighty evangelists. They’ve graduated from the Evangelism Bootcamp and they are pursuing your call upon their lives. Lord, I pray that you would open up great doors of ministry for them. Lord, I pray that through their ministries, through their influence, many thousands of people all over the world would come to know you. Lord, I thank you that you are raising up an army of evangelists that will go all over the world preaching the gospel. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen. Amen.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (00:00):
Welcome to the Evangelism Podcast. I’m Daniel King, and I’m excited about telling people about Jesus. Today, I have a very special guest with me, Waldy Bersche from Germany,

Waldy Bersche (00:11):
Yes. So my name is Waldy Bersche. Yes. I’m from Germany.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (00:14):
Well, we are in the nation of Ethiopia. We have just completed doing a great gospel crusade in Kemba, Ethiopia. And you came along with me as a co evangelist. Yes. And we saw God do some amazing things. What really stood out to you this week?

Waldy Bersche (00:34):
So for me, we had a lot of healings, and this really stood out for me. So we prayed for people and they were healed right in front of our eyes. People who were blind before, people who were deaf in their ears. And it’s really great to see how God is healing people on the spot sometimes. You see how healing is working in the progress, but when Jesus heals on the spot, that so it’s great

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (00:56):
Miracle. What were some of the notable healings that you saw?

Waldy Bersche (00:59):
We had a lady, she was, she had pain in her body for over 30 years, and this really impacted me because she, she was suffering for 30 years and then Jesus heal her in the church. We preached in different churches and I thought about man suffering for 30 years. That’s a long time, but now Jesus was really gracious and

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (01:21):
Yeah. Now you actually came early Yes. To the crusade, and you spent some time helping the publicity team to tell everyone Yes. About what was happening. And you went into some marketplaces. Tell me what happened.

Waldy Bersche (01:35):
So it was really unexpected for me because I thought the markets would be small, but we came there and markets, we had over 3000 people. I’m a white person, so I have a little bit of sunburn, but there, because of my white skin, it was really a great advantage. So the the children came to us as soon as we opened the door of the truck, and it was a great attraction. So we didn’t have to pay money for advertisement just to have white skin. It was, was a great advantage. And we preached there and yeah, it was actually crusades, I mean, three, 4,000 people on a marketplace. It was awesome. So I stood in on top of the truck. I was preaching with a microphone. I was totally surrounded by a big crowd, and I had to tour myself all the time and to see everyone. But yeah, Jesus did the same miracles. He was the same on the markets as on the big crusade fields.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (02:30):
When I first met you, it was at an ACE conference, the Association of Campaign evangelists, and we were in Sweden together, and we started to talk, and you asked me where I was going and I said next week I go to Egypt, and you decided to jump in and say, can I go with you? And so the very next day we jumped on a plane together, we went to Alexandria Egypt, where we had a, a very nice event there. And lots of people from Sudan got saved. Yes, yes, that’s true in Alexandria. And then you have this great desire to be an evangelist. Yes. And so you went to the Christ for All Nations Evangelism Bootcamp. Yeah. and I was one of the instructors. Yeah. And then since then, you’ve gone full-time into evangelism, just giving yourself for Jesus Christ. What were some of the things that you learned in the Evangelism Bootcamp that now are helping you to tell people about Jesus?

Waldy Bersche (03:29):
So, I learned a lot of things, especially from you. I really, what do I like about you is that you write books. So I have, you’ve written a lot of books, and my goal is to write also a couple of books. So when we were together in, in Egypt, I always saw you writing on the laptop. And this really impacted me. I said, okay, if Daniel writes, I mean, then I have to write. Paul wrote also and his letters we read after 2000 years. And you said, okay if I’m going to die, my books will still preach the gospel. And that’s what I like. So this is one thing. And also the boldness just to Yeah. Stand on a crusade field just to stay on a platform and preach in front of 30 thou or 40,000 people. It’s totally different.

(04:11):
Not everyone can do this, but you made it and thought, okay I would like to learn from Daniel. I would like to learn from the best. And what, what I also really like is you told me that you read a book when you were 15 years, how to become a millionaire. And so you said, okay, I don’t want to become a dollar millionaire, but a soul millionaire. And this stuck in my head. I said, okay, Daniel brought 1 million people to Jesus. What are my goals in life? Do I want to get rich? Do I want to be famous? But I also want to lead 1 million people to Jesus. That’s my goal. So,

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (04:45):
Amen. I’m

Waldy Bersche (04:46):
Really up to you

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (04:47):
And agree with you that you will become a soul millionaire in the name of Jesus. And you’re already well on your way. You’ve been ministering with Christ for all nations. Yes. You were part of de capitalist previously in Yes. Just now you’re going to go to Zambia. Yeah. And you’re going to be helping with one of the, the Christ for all nations de capitalist crusades. Mm-Hmm. <affirmative> you’re gonna be helping to organize it Yeah. And set it up. Mm-Hmm. <affirmative> and, and so you’re just giving everything you have for Jesus. And you’ve also launched your ministry. Mm-Hmm. <affirmative>, what’s the name of your ministry?

Waldy Bersche (05:19):
So my ministry is called Saving the Lost.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (05:21):
Saving the Lost. And if someone wants to find out about your ministry or donate to help you with all the different Yeah. Crusades and, and outreaches that you’re doing. Yeah. how can they do that?

Waldy Bersche (05:31):
Yeah. So you can just go to www saving the lost.com. Also, I just started the YouTube channel. There’s some videos also. I have Telegram also. I’m on Instagram. So I’m just Google me and you will find

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (05:43):
Me. Now let’s talk about how you got started. You had this desire from God to be an evangelist. Yes. But you didn’t really know what to do or how to do it. Yeah. So how did you start learning to be an evangelist?

Waldy Bersche (05:55):
So I always when I was young, a lot of missionaries came into my church. And this really left a great impression on me. So I, I read the magazines from the missionaries and I said, one day, I want to become a missionary. So I knew cfa, I knew Billy Graham, but I was so shy that, okay, I cannot contacted Billy Graham Ministries or Christ Fall Nation. Who am I? I’m just a small fish. So then I, on Google, I found by accident another crusade evangelist. He was from Sweden. And I ask him, may

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (06:27):
I come? My friend Marcus Blue,

Waldy Bersche (06:28):
Right. And I ask him, may I come along on one of your trips? So invited me to India, and there is somewhere in the Himalayas on, on, in a pastor’s conference. I saw how God opened up a deaf ear and I thought, oh, Jesus is still healing today, like 2000 years ago. And then we went to the south of India and I saw a crusade. And Marcos gave me the opportunity to start the crusade where he gave me five minutes as an opener. And I preach my heart out. And then when I took the microphone, I realized I want to be a crusade evangelist and discontinued. And I went to Pakistan, other countries as well.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (07:07):
You caught the missions bug. Yes. And, and now you continue in it. And I believe that God will give you Yeah. The million souls that you’re asking for. And even beyond you will be a, a soul millionaire in Jesus name. Thank you so much. Well, Valdi, we are very honored that you came and partnered with us for this great gospel crusade in Kemba, Ethiopia. And I really hope we can do something more together once again very soon. So thank you and God bless you.

Waldy Bersche (07:34):
Thank you so much, Daniel. It’s an honor.

In the past year, Roman Nache spoke over 1000 times to over 300,000 people and prayed with over 200,000 people to receive Christ in seven different nations. On today’s podcast, he shares one of the messages that he uses at Youth Crusades to capture the attention of young people to present the gospel and to lead them to Jesus.

Evangelism Podcast Host (00:37):
Welcome to the Evangelism Podcast with Dr. Daniel King, where Daniel interviews full-time evangelists, pastors, missionaries, and normal everyday Christians to discover how they share their faith, their powerful testimonies, and amazing stories that will inspire you to reach people with the good news. And now here’s your host, missionary, and evangelist Daniel King. Welcome

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (01:01):
To the Evangelism Podcast. I’m Daniel King and I’m excited about telling people about Jesus today. Have a very special guest with me, Roman Nche. Thank you so much for being on the Evangelism Podcast.

Roman Nechay (01:12):
Thank you so much, Daniel. I’m glad to be here.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (01:15):
So you were a student at Christ for All Nations Evangelism Bootcamp, and I was one of the teachers, and then we were together over in Tanzania, and you came to me and said, is there anything that I could do to serve King Ministries? And a few months later you came over here and you spent several days with me just helping me to edit the videos for my School of Apologetics. And you put a lot of work into that. And now thousands and thousands of atheists have watched those videos and many of them have made very negative comments. They have said that this Daniel King guy is an idiot. He doesn’t know what he is talking about, but the amazing thing is that they’re listening to the gospel from those videos that you edited. So thank you for doing that.

Roman Nechay (02:06):
My pleasure. I’m just glad to be that part of that experience. And man, this is amazing that what you’re doing is you’re bringing the light of Jesus Christ to the atheist. Not everybody can do that, and not everybody is able, like, capable of bringing the gospel that way. So thank you so much Daniel.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (02:21):
And so last time that you were here, you were just about ready to go on an adventure to go to different nations around the world and do youth crusades. And now here we are, we’re a year later, and I want to get a report. What has God been doing?

Roman Nechay (02:40):
Amen. So last year around in the beginning of the year, around January 2nd, I left out to Rwanda. And Rwanda. We got to preach there for about two two months, and we saw many amazing things happen. So we mostly focused on youth and teenagers. And I remember just one instance where we were in a church and we got to preach on a Sunday morning to about a thousand youth. And then we started taking testimonies. And one gentleman, he came out and he testified that his shortsightedness was healed and in front of all, all his friends, I wanted to check that if, if it was true or not. So I took my Bible, I flipped it open, and I asked him, if before when you had the shortsightedness, would you be able to see this far out? And he said, no, I wouldn’t. And I said, okay, let’s test out your vision.

(03:32):
Now what does it say? And he read exactly from the Bible at a distance where he couldn’t do it before and the whole crowd exploded. They just started shouting and praising the Lord because they saw what Jesus has done. And his, his life was a miracle. So his eyes were completely restored and Jesus had done that. And of course there’s many other instances, for example, where in Rwanda there’s a gentleman who he was he was of a different religion, but afterwards he experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit so strongly that you can see in her his eyes, he was almost tearing up. He was saying, wow, I felt the power of God. I felt something on the inside of me. And now I’m a different, a different man. I’m a different person today because of what Jesus has done for me. And there was so many other miracles. It was an amazing time, Daniel.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (04:21):
Well, Jesus is wonderful, and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever the same Jesus that healed people 2000 years ago can heal people in Rwanda. And so you were part of a Christ for all nations team there in Rwanda doing youth crusades. And I heard phenomenal reports about what God had done. And, and, and so what were some of the results? How many people did the team minister to during the ministry there in Rwanda?

Roman Nechay (04:49):
So collectively in the year 2022, Christ for all nations has seen over 1 million decisions for Christ in the, in the country of Rwanda. We literally hit so many people. I mean, Daniel Rwanda itself has about 12 million population where we hit over a million and a half population and over a million decisions for Christ. We hit one 10th of that country for Jesus Christ. So that was a phenomenal just feat with all the evangelists. And of course, it wasn’t just me on the ground and just people. There was, I think, you know, 20, 30, 40 evangelists that came and went in just that period of three months in the beginning of the year and the last two weeks in December.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (05:30):
What a great victory. I mean, one outta every 10 to actually pray a prayer of salvation and come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I I pray that we would see revivals like that happen in nations all over the world. Okay, so you were in Rwanda, but you also got to visit some other places. Where where else did you go?

Roman Nechay (05:51):
So total of seven Nations in 2022. So Rwanda, Uganda, Ivory Coast, Ghana, and then I hopped over to Asia in the middle of the year when I got to minister in south country of Bangladesh. So, and then I got to minister in Thailand and Cambodia. So all of those countries I got to visit last year. So

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (06:11):
Let’s talk a little bit about Asia versus Africa. The cultures are very different and the people are very different. In Africa, I think you can go and all the kids will run up to you and they will scream and they’re super excited. And then in Asia they might be more reserved and sit very quietly. What, what were some of the, the differences that you saw in administering in Asia versus Africa?

Roman Nechay (06:38):
Man, definitely what you’re saying is the children in Asia are so much more reserved than compared to Africa. I mean, in Africa, let’s say, especially in West Africa, would just walk through, you know, the town and kids are screaming, they’re touch, trying to touch you, they’re trying to, you know, like touch your skin and all these kids are all around you. In Asia, they’re a little bit more shy, so they just wanna first see, okay, who is this foreigner? What are, what are they doing here? And so on. And some of the culture differences, as I told you earlier, you know, in Thailand it’s not good to touch somebody’s head like that’s, that’s wrong, that’s disrespectful. And I remember one of our evangelist friends came from Russia. He’s just laying hands on these kids as in Africa, and he didn’t know this. And so we had to, we had to tell him, Hey, like we can’t lay hands and just, and kids and expect, so that’s kind of rude. So we had to explain that to them and we were learning so much on the way, like in, in Asia, just about the culture and everything. Yeah.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (07:36):
So after this, this full year of ministry, I know that you kept careful track of all the people that you ministered to and the people that prayed with you for salvation. Give me the final numbers and statistics from the, the full year of ministry that you got to do.

Roman Nechay (07:50):
Yeah, so I got to preach over 1000 times in the whole year of 2022. I got to see over 300,000 youth face-to-face that I got to speak to about Christ with. And then over 200,000 decisions for Christ in one year of ministry. So praise God for that.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (08:09):
What an amazing victory just to have the opportunity to, to preach a thousand times. I mean, I, if you think about a, a pastor preaching once every Sunday morning, once every Wednesday night, you know, that would be a hundred times in a year. He would have to go 10 years to preach a thousand times. And here you got to go, you preached over a thousand times. So you basically got 10 years of experience stuffed into one year. And then to have the opportunity to speak to so many people and to see so many people give their lives to Jesus. I mean, there’s some ministries that they may see a few hundred people come to Jesus in a year, and you had over 200,000. So I would say this is a, a major victory. What a tremendous opportunity that, that God gave you. And I I really celebrate with you the harvest and thank you. And it’s, it’s neat seeing you this time versus last time we were together because last time you, you had big vision and he, I feel like God’s calling me to do this and I want to do that. Well, now you come back as an experienced, a very mature minister because now you’ve gone and done it. It’s not just talk in rhetoric. You know what it takes to actually lead thousands of people to Jesus.

Roman Nechay (09:33):
Amen. And what’s also wonderful, Daniel, is not that these people just heard the gospel, but they’re actually being discipled in the process. So a few weeks ago I got a report that in Thailand, they’re out there again visiting these same places where we preached the gospel and they’re bringing, they brought the, the Christmas story to the children. So for example, they would show the video of Jesus being born and coming into this earth, dying and raising from the dead. They, they’re talking, you know, they’re preaching to them, they’re showing videos, they’re playing games with them. So, and also same thing in Uganda. There’s many people, or there’s, there’s some pastors and leaders that are visiting these places. They’re doing bible study with them. I got pictures of kids, you know, open with the Bible open studying the word of God. And so this is not just us preaching one time and leaving forever, but there’s people who are following up with these children, that these children get to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and they get to be mature Christians.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (10:28):
Wow. What a tremendous blessing that is. And so Roman, let’s imagine that you’re in Rwanda, you are doing a youth crusade, and in front of you it are thousands maybe a a thousand or 1500 young people, and you have the opportunity to present the gospel to them. What does that sound like? Are you there with a suit and a tie? You have your you know you’re starting in Leviticus. What, what, what, what do you tell these kids to capture their attention and, and present the gospel to them?

Roman Nechay (11:04):
Well, first of all we try to have the African attire or wherever we are. If it’s the Asian culture, we try to have the Asian attire. So we try to be very presentable. And you know, we try to match what, what they’re wearing. That’s one thing. And another thing, before I even start preaching, you know there’s different stories or d there’s different ways that we present the gospel depends. The, the instance, it depends on the age, it depends on the, on the place where we’re preaching at. But this is how something would go. So,

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (11:32):
So, so why are you using stories to communicate to young people?

Roman Nechay (11:38):
Well, I mean, Jesus used parables all the time. Jesus used the parables of the, of the, of the sower, going out to sow the seed. Jesus always communicated with parables because we can imagine these things, and then we connect these stories into the gospel because that’s way Jesus did it. And again, the gospel is an illustration. Jesus, he died on the cross. Jesus rose from the dead. We see that mentally. We can imagine that. And then we communicate that into our own lives. So this is why we use stories. Another reason why we use stories is because that grabs the tension of the children. You know, we don’t want to just rebuke them and say, you must repent and you must believe the gospel. They don’t understand that. So to grasp their attention, we use stories in the beginning. So they, they’re interested, they maybe they laugh a little bit, and then all of a sudden we go into the gospel.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (12:26):
That’s awesome. Alright, well give us a story. How are you presenting the gospel to this group of young people?

Roman Nechay (12:32):
Once upon a time, there’s this one little boy, he’s walking down the street and all of a sudden he gets this idea, he wants to build a small toy wooden boat. And so he goes to the shop and he, all of a sudden he starts building this boat, and he built it, and it was so beautiful, and he decided to go and take it out for a test. So he ran down to the river, he put this boat into the river, and this boat sailed perfectly. The boy’s so happy, he’s so rejoicing, but suddenly there’s this windstorm that just blows in out of nowhere, and it takes his boat far, far away from the boy. And the boat gets lost. And the boy became so sad, he started crying. But the next day, the boy is walking through the town and all of a sudden the boy spots his own boat in the window of a shop.

(13:17):
The boy, he runs into the shop and says to the shopkeeper, shopkeeper, that’s my boat. I made it. But the shop co keeper says, little boy, somebody gave me that boat yesterday. If you want the boat, you must buy back from me. So the boy, he was determined to buy back the boat. The boy ran back home and he worked hard for three days. He helped his parents, he washed windows, he cleaned the toilets, he did everything possible to get enough money to buy that boat back. So the boy ran back to the store, and the boy paid for the boat and ran out with the boat. So happy. Then suddenly the boy lifted the boat behind the air and said, little boat, little boat. You are twice mine. First I made you, and second I bought you back. And this story relates to the gospel.

(14:01):
We are like the boat, and God is like the boy. God created us in his image and likeness. God put us here on this earth for a reason. God made us. But then suddenly we, because of sin, were separated from God. We all disobeyed God. And we fell short of the glory of God, meaning that we were not perfect and we made mistakes in our life. But then God, he liked the boy, purchased us by sending his son Jesus Christ into this world to pay for our sin. Jesus, he died on the cross. Jesus paid with his own blood. Jesus didn’t pay with gold or silver or with money or with dollars. Jesus paid with his blood dying on the cross for us. So he substituted that, that sin in our place. And then Jesus overcame death. Jesus overcame sin, and Jesus rose from the dead. And today is alive. And I have the kids repeat, say, Jesus is alive, and they say, Jesus is alive.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (14:55):
Jesus is

Roman Nechay (14:56):
Alive. Amen. And Jesus is the only way to God. So what we must do is we must turn from our shameful acts, from our sins, and we must, must turn to the honor and honor of Jesus. We must turn to Christ himself. And we must say no to all our sins if we lie, cheated, stolen, if we dishonor parents or our friends, if we, if we fo if we’re angry, we must turn away from all those things and follow Jesus with our whole heart. And then we’ll be saved. So then I tell all the children, close your eyes. This is a holy moment. Now you get to make a choice. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, your relatives, they can’t make this choice for you, only. You must make this choice. And so right now, Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart, and only you can open the door to Jesus.

(15:40):
If you want to repent and turn from your sins and turn to Christ, raise your hand. If you want to give all of your life to Jesus right now, raise your hand. And so these kids all over the place, they start raising their hands with their eyes closed. And then we pray the prayer of salvation. Dear Jesus, I give you my life. Jesus, I turn from sin. Jesus, I turn to you, Jesus. Save me from my sin right now and fill me with your joy and fill me with the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen. And afterwards, they, they say, amen. We say, we wanna celebrate and sing a song with you. And so we dance to this song called One Way Jesus. And they’re in Africa and Asia. They love to dance. And so we worship together with them. And afterwards we encourage them by saying this. Now you made a decision to follow Christ. Please read and re read the Bible every single day. Pray and join a local church so you can grow in the things of God and, and you can grow in your relationship with Jesus. So that’s about how it goes. Just a simple message. It’s all about Jesus. And we bring him to that decision where they get to make a decision to follow Christ themselves.

Evangelism Coach Daniel King (16:43):
I love how sharp your message is. It goes right to the heart of the matter. You’re not wasting time in rabbit trails that don’t matter to the gospel, but you’re telling the story, presenting the gospel, and bringing kids to the point of decision.
