At our Love Zimbabwe Festival in Gweru, Zimbabwe, our team with the Global Evangelists Network (GNE) proclaimed the Gospel in many creative ways. Clowns, musicians, dancers, jugglers, actors, and preachers all worked together to go fishing for people. The GNE tagline is simple yet powerful: “One message, many expressions.”

One memory from this festival will stay with me forever. On the very first night, I noticed a young brother and sister responding to the altar call. With tiny hands folded and heads bowed, they repeated the prayer of salvation with pure sincerity. Their simple, childlike faith was breathtaking—a reminder that the Gospel is for everyone, young and old alike.

At our Children’s Festival the field rang with laughter as we played games, sang songs, performed dramas, and danced together. Then I preached about how God created every boy and girl and how Jesus made a way for all to be saved. Just as I gave the altar call, the sound system suddenly failed. The roar of the generator drowned out my voice, and the sound team couldn’t fix it. So, I told them to shut it down. In that instant, a holy hush fell over the field. I lifted my voice and cried out, “If you want Jesus to be your Savior, repeat this prayer after me.” With no microphone, yet with heaven’s authority, hundreds of children echoed the prayer of salvation. It was a sacred moment I will never forget.

On the final night, I preached on the three greatest miracles in the Bible:

  1. God created you.
  2. God loves you.
  3. God saves you.

Four actors joined me on stage to dramatize the story. God created Adam and Eve and walked with them daily, but when they sinned, fellowship was broken. A vast chasm opened between heaven and earth—impossible for man to cross by human effort. But God, in His love, sent Jesus. He walked and talked with His disciples, yet evil men nailed Him to a cross. He died—but death could not hold Him. Three days later, He rose again, and today Jesus is alive! I told the crowd: “Jesus wants to walk with you and talk with you every day. If you cry out to Him, your relationship with God will be restored.” That night, thousands responded to the altar call, surrendering their hearts to Jesus.

Every altar call is a reason for celebration. Whether it’s one little girl in a crowd, hundreds of children in a field, or thousands at a Gospel Festival, each decision is a miracle. Scripture tells us that heaven rejoices when even one sinner repents—and I rejoice too!

Friend, none of this would be possible without your prayers and generosity.

Every salvation story from Gweru is fruit that you share in. From the two little girls who bowed their heads in simple faith… to the hundreds of children who prayed without microphones… to the thousands who lifted their voices to Jesus on the final night—you were part of every single one. Thank you!
