Daniel King Speaks at the Billion Soul Harvest Conference in South Korea
Recently, I had the great honor of speaking at the Billion Soul Harvest Conference in South Korea, a gathering of global Christian leaders and evangelists passionate about reaching the world for Jesus Christ. The Billion Soul Harvest (BSH) movement is dedicated to one clear mission: to unite the body of Christ to reach one billion people with the Gospel. Grounded in evangelism, discipleship, and church growth, the BSH vision is to see every nation hear the name of Jesus and to see vibrant churches planted in every community around the world.
As a missionary evangelist, I was deeply inspired by the sight of over 1,000 believers from over 150 nations worshiping together with one heart and one purpose, to fulfill the Great Commission. In my message, I spoke about the power of unity in the church. I shared that the early church’s strength was found in their oneness. The Greek word homothumadon, translated as “one accord, ”appears repeatedly in the book of Acts. It describes believers who prayed together, worshiped together, and served together with a single, united passion for Jesus.
I reminded the audience that unity was one of the last prayers Jesus prayed before the cross: “That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You… that the world may believe that You sent Me” (John 17:21). The unity of the church is not just a nice idea, it is the key to world evangelism. When we walk in love and oneness, the world sees Jesus clearly through us.
I also shared practical illustrations, how a single toothpick can easily be broken, but when many are bound together, they become unbreakable. In the same way, believers united in purpose cannot be defeated. God does not call us to independence, but to interdependence. Together, we can accomplish far more for the Kingdom than we could ever achieve alone.
As I concluded the message, something beautiful happened. Across the auditorium, people stood, put their arms around one another, and began to pray together for unity in the Body of Christ. Pastors embraced other pastors. Leaders from different denominations joined hands. Tears flowed as the Spirit of God moved powerfully among us. It was a visible answer to Jesus’ prayer, the church coming together in one accord.
The Billion Soul Harvest Conference was a vivid reminder that teamwork makes the dream work in the Kingdom of God. When believers unite under the banner of Christ, the Gospel advances faster, farther, and stronger. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this historic movement, and I believe that together, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will see the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever witnessed.
